Not much to say about these, and that's a good thing. They feel well made, metal housing with some weight to them, not the flimsy plastic ones you usually get at this price. THe work as advertused - turning a "regular" USB (A) port into a usable USB-C port. The price is very reasonable and I do recommend the "multi-pack" of these things because, given the proliferation of devices that REQUIRE USB-C ports, they'll quickly get "used", if all you have is "regular" USB (A) ports available.

I just received these adapters. 4-stars for now as I just started using them. I'll come back to update how they do over the next 6-12 months. They should never fail, eh? We'll see. I'm happy at this point. I also just purchase the "Most Popular" two-pack adapters to compare. I have a BUNCH of iPhone Lightening cables that are now "antiques." My 2022 Subaru Outback Touring has two-USB ports which meant I either had to buy adapters or USB<->USB-C cables and then hope Apple Car Play for my iPhone 17 Pro would work, plus I have a few AC outlets in the house with USB/USB-C ports. I opt'ed for adapters and they are WORKING! A three-pack was $8, and no need to buy the more expensive cables - I have a LOT of USB cables of all types! PLEASE VENDORS, going forward adopt USB-C so we don't have a variety to deal with. (I know some are no gone, however, look what went through. At least residential and office wall outlets are standardized in the USA.) USB-A - Rectangular, flat USB-B - Square with beveled corners Mini-USB - Small trapezoid Micro-USB - Tiny flat rectangle, still used in budget devices USB-C - Oval, rounded - Universal standard since 2018 Forgetabout the multi-types of laptop AC connectors over the YEARS! At least my Lenovo is USB-C. I have a pile of these chargers too. So, my Leviton AC Wall Outlets don't need to be replaced as they have USB & USB-C. As I need more USB-C, I can just pop-in the adapters. AC Wall Outlets are not cheap. Now, will charging be fast? I tend not to run my batteries down and just plug-in overnight, in the car (no Outback Bluetooth so I just plug-in, eh), at my desk I charge while using if I'll be on a call for a long time. I have two multi-port USB 200W chargers w/USB & USB-C ports. Now the USB ports can be used for USB-C with these nifty little adapters. My iPhone 17 Pro uses USB-C, not Lightening. In 2022 the EU passed legislation to effectively force Apple to use USB-C. I do think USB-C is a far better connector than Lightening plus it moves the standard for USB to USB-C. HOWEVER, legislating something like this I despise, gov't has other fish they need to fry like AC Outlets. Meanwhile, you'd think the EU would standardize on ONE TYPE OF AC SOCKET! I get, 240V/50hz is what they use, HOWEVER different sockets? Really? They could have standardized on what the USA did for AC given AC was invented in the USA by Nickola Tesla (not Edison as many assume.) Electricity is electricity, duh.

I bought this 3-pack specifically because I needed a way to use my standard USB YubiKey with the newer USB-C ports on my laptop and phone. These adapters work flawlessly! These I now have over a year, maybe two, would be lost without them, especially when on the road or in a hotel. Not a lot to say except that very well made does the Job they say it will do, and very good for Data Transfer, but also for charging, find them amazing for that too.

Solche kleinen Adapter sind im Alltag praktisch, weil man immer wieder Geräte, Kabel oder Zubehör hat, bei denen der Anschluss gerade nicht passt. Gerade bei USB-C und USB-A ist es angenehm, ein paar passende Adapter griffbereit zu haben. Die Verarbeitung macht einen ordentlichen Eindruck, die Verbindung funktioniert bei mir zuverlässig und ich hatte bisher keine Probleme damit. Für meinen Einsatzzweck ein simples, aber nützliches Zubehörteil. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
