Great price and performance!
The Excel wetsuit if comfortable, functional, and priced below some of the other brands.

A bit tight
I wear size L clothes, so I ordered an XL in the wetsuit department, and this is a tight fit. I may need to lose a few pounds to be able to use this.

Creased all over just out from the factory package! Expected better ((
Neoprene is a foam/rubber-like material that has some resiliense to short term deformation. But after sitting in storage creases and folds (that have been made at the factory when packaging a suit!) will last pretty much for the rest of its lifetime. That means it will not insulate my body equally and properly and also will be at risk of tears in the weakened spots.See the photos: folds and heavy creases on both shoulders, both knees, right ankle. On top of everything else they put a paper tube to prevent a crease on your hind when the suit is folded in half. Thoughtful, huh? Well, unfortunately the tube is rather hard, resulting in a pressed-in indentation across the ass that did not disappear after lying flat in the open for 3 days!I am appaled at the condition the unmistakably brand new wetsuit arrives in. Doesn't the manufacturer know how to properly handle and fold their own product? Would they like to receive their own product like this? At least fold it in the same direction human body's joints work!!In addition, the seams look good and there are tape circles glued on major multi-panel intersections inside, but that's about all that's good. Neck velcro doesn't have a "safety" patch to hook it onto when the zipper is open, so it will catch on the suit at any opportunity and in any spot, ruining the material .. The neck doesn't have any glideskin inside (just cut off neoprene - same as arm and leg cuffs) feeling a bit rough, and the neoprene is rather tight (less stretchy), so I had a hard time just to pull legs on..With all above concerns didn't even try going further. Returning. Expected better from XCEL! (((

Runs Small, Disappointing Fit
I usually wear an XL, so I ordered the XCEL Men's IconX Back Zip Full Wetsuit in XXL just to be safe. Unfortunately, it still doesn't fit.The wetsuit runs quite small, which is a real letdown because it seems like it would have been a great product otherwise. The durability and stretch are impressive, but the sizing issue makes it unusable for me.

Good-looking and practical wetsuit
The material is flexible and durable. It kept my husband warm during the early hours and protected him from the sun throughout the day. He said it was easy to put on, comfortable, and fit well. He was able to swim with ease. It was as easy to take off as the average wet suit. It dried well and stored nicely. It is a good-looking wetsuit.

Seems durable and very snug, if a little hard to get on
I got this because I occasionally get a little colder with just the shorty and I want to be warm all over when paddleboarding on the ocean. I am about 5'8", and about 170. The medium size that I got was a little tight and it took a minute to get it on. I am wondering if I should have got a large instead. After getting it on, my arm movement definitely felt a bit restricted but after a while was better.Quality seems very good and is stretchy like it says in the description. The pads on the knees are also good. The one think that I didn't like as much about it was that the zipper seemed a bit shorter than other ones I have used. I felt like this made it slightly harder to get on.It had a little pocket on the inside for putting something. I haven't worn a wetsuit that has that has that but it does seem useful in case you need to have something with you.

Xcel quality at affordable price
Needed another 3/2 for my endless summer sessions but didn’t need a super pricey titanium summer bill. This one easily fit the budget. Xcel wetsuits (imported) have always been well made and really comfortable this one is no different. Was hoping the MS sizing was more on the short size but it’ll work. Easy to get into and out of, nice stitching and zipper is good. Knee pad is thin but again like that this suit is flexible & comfortable. Never had a problem with xcel brand one of the best out there!

Excellent suit
The media could not be loaded. Xcel is a long time well known brand in the wetsuit world. This 3/2 suit is for warmer days in the water. Thin and stretchy this is probably one of the lowest end that xcel makes but there is no compromise on quality and features. Nice back zipper, great construction and a reinforced knee area wrap up the construction. Overall a very nice suit that’s replacing an old worn out one for surfing.
