I bought a Pop Design 25oz stainless steel insulated water bottle because I got fed of of refilling plastic water bottles, and I’d heard loads of horror stories about re-using non-BPA free bottles. I’ve also been trying to drink more water as part of a healthy lifestyle. I much prefer water when it’s ice cold and found I didn’t really drink the bottle of water I would take to work once it had become tepid.I found this bottle on Amazon and was instantly impressed by the look of it. I really liked the simple design, the logo was very straightforward and stylish, and I liked that the colour of the bottle ran from the neck to the base as opposed to having a stainless steel base like many other similar bottles on the market. The reviews were all very positive and it was reasonably priced compared to similar products I’d found.I went for the matte black bottle and was happy that it arrived so promptly. It came in a good looking presentation box. The bottle itself has a very sleek look and the matte finish looks great, and is well contrasted against the stainless steel cap.I was skeptical when I read the claim that the bottle would keep water cool for 24 hours, so I thought I’d give it a try. I somewhat stupidly filled the bottle with top quality Scottish tap water, and then put the bottle in the fridge thinking it would cool it down - not realising that the double insulation works both ways! I was surprised to find that my water was exactly the same temperature as it was when I filled it having been in the fridge for 12 hours! But I guess that means the double insulation works!For my next try, I chilled water in a re-usable plastic water bottle in the fridge and decanted it into my Pop bottle before taking it to work. Despite it being a scorching summers day (with Scotland hitting record highs of 33 degrees Celsius!), I found that my water was still ice cold 8 hours later at the end of my shift, despite having opened it up to drink out of it multiple times throughout the day. I was hugely impressed at how this bottle keeps water chilled without any obvious increase in temperature over many hours.I’m yet to test the bottle with hot drinks, but when I do, I certainly won’t be as skeptical as I was first time round.If you’re looking for a bottle to use when going out and about or exercising, then this is perhaps not the right one for you due to its size, and it is slightly heavier than other bottles I’ve used. It also doesn’t fit easily in standard cup holders in a car. Of course, the 17oz might be ideal for taking to the gym or out for a run.But if you’re looking for a reasonably priced, stylish bottle that will keep your cold drinks cold for hours on end, even on a hot summers day, then this is absolutely the one for you!A solid 10/10 from me!

The PERFECT bottleAfter trying to get into shape and drink more water, I had gone through multiple bottles including the plastic water cooler style jugs which would keep breaking on me, cracking within a month as well as feel sluggish to hold around. Not to mention the water becoming warm within a few hours. This is really annoying if you have to fill up the whole 2L and don't intend to fill up again.After trying all of those, I came accross this bottle by POP. Reviews looked good so I took the leap.Bottle arrived really nicely packaged, a big fan of their card box design which does it's bit to make you realise the good you're doing for the environment.Give if a wash and filled it up and off we go. I've used this for a whole year now and I'm just blown away.ProsCold water will stay ice cold from the night before and even then some. I'd usually fill up at work 4.30PM and it'll be as ice cold at 9AM the next morning!Bottle design does not feel like it's sluggish to carry around. A very trendy design that will usually match your look also.Very leak proof, not had a single leak out of this bottleVery durable, its, been dropped on concrete , in the gym, down the stairs and is still great (though the bottom parts and lid did dent, keep reading though)Hot water will stay hot for 12 hours as tested. Temporarily required, so used it to keep boiling water inside for baby milk at night. This did not disappoint and was a perfect stand in for my other flask. I don't go camping but would expect this to be perfectly fine.ConsThe bottom can dent as well as the lid if dropped. Now, I don't exactly consider this a massive con because you should look after your product anyway but after some damage to the bottom, the bottle will easily fall when knocked due to the balance of the legs.Not to worry, I contacted the seller as the bottle does come with a warranty and they issued a replacement right away. So in my opinion, that's another pro for customer service.This is a buy once bottle and own for a lifetime. Stop buying new bottles every month and stick to POP. I HIGHLY recommend.

I have been looking for a leak proof BPA free bottle which not only looks great, but can keep my drinks hot or cold for extended periods of time.  It had to be versatile enough to be used in different environments and able to resist knocks;  this one ticked all the boxes.The bottle's stainless steel finish has a nice, clean look and does not leave smudge marks on it, even when held by hands covered with moisturising cream.It also has a weighted, robust feel which is comfortable to grip.  The decent sized circumference of the bottle's lip makes pouring easy and drinking directly from the bottle comfortable too. The lid also screws on securely providing a leak proof seal, thereby preventing the contents from spilling.I have found the bottle to be suitable for multiple settings, having used it in the gym, around the home and office.Whether it's water, fruit juice or something else, the bottle keeps it ice cold from one morning to the next.  Hot drinks do stay very hot for around 10-12 hours too, which is going to be useful in the winter. All this without affecting it's flavour.I went for the larger 750ml one as this would last me all day.  The bottle can get minor surface scratches when washing, but these are so fine they are hardly noticeable on the stainless steel unless the bottle is held up close to the eye.The bottle is also easy to clean using a long scrubbing brush with washing up liquid for the inside of the bottle and a washing sponge scourer for the body.Overall, I would recommend this bottle to anyone looking to keep their drinks hot or cold all day without the worry of the contents leaking.
