In ground pool water tender
Super good value. Does the job while we are out of town. Keeps pool water up so pool pump doesn’t burn up. Very simple operation, reliable.

Works great
The one thing I read about these was high water pressure (around 60psi or above) can cause them to fail. We sometimes aren't there for a month at a time, so I installed a pressure regulator set to 30 psi and added a Wi-Fi sprinkler time to only run 30 minutes a day or I can start and stop it anytime. That combination works great. Plus, with the sprinkler timer app gives me how many gallons are added a day, so I can see if anything is abnormal from anywhere. If you are not home all the time, I would recommend adding the regulator and timer combination. It's an additional $100 well spent and you can install them yourself.

2025 Upgrade Automatic Pool Filler does not work as advertised.
Does not work. Does come on when water level is low, but the floater then sinks below cut off level on the device and water will continue to flow and overflow the pool, so I have to be there to turn off the hose. I was hoping to use this for when I am out of town, but can't do that because pool will overflow.

Seems to work well
Easy to set up and it seems to work well. I’ve read reviews that it overfills the pool. I THINK the problem is that it has to be leveled with the little feet on the bottom so the float can work properly. I used a stainless steel hose with it and so far no leaks. I’m not confident enough to trust it when I’m not home yet so I turn the water off when I leave but it’s easy to turn on and it stops when the pool reaches the right level so I don’t have to constantly check the pool. So far so good and the price is right

Good when it works
Installed this on 3/23/25. Woke up this morning to a pool filled to the top. I installed a flow meter inline to monitor usage. Worked good until last night 5/12/25. It stuck in on position and used 2500 gallons. Obviously the float is stuck. Will troubleshoot and add an update.

Works great.
This thing works great. Just set and forget. I’m out of town sometimes for up to a week and the Texas heat can drop the pool level drastically. I can now leave town and have confidence my pool level will never be low. I would definitely recommend this auto-filler and you can’t beat the price. I am beyond happy.
