Project Popcorn (Math Matters)

I used this book in a fifth grade classroom. The students really enjoyed the story and it brought up some thought provoking questions. They were able to understand why and how we use mean, median, mode, and range in everyday situations. Although the story was a little corny, it really put the math concepts in a comprehensible fashion.
