Sony WCH20 Inductive Charger for Wireless Charging in Portrait or Landscape Format Black

I bought this from Amazon (not a reseller on Amazon). It was not clear on the product page that Amazon meant "Amazon EU Sarl", although I'm not sure I'd have realised that meant anything. But it means that this doesn't come with a UK plug, it comes with a European plug. Since the USB cord is separate I can plug it into other plugs, but can't help feel it's an important point Amazon should be listing, especially given the price of the charger (over £70 currently).Onto the product, there's some nice stuff. The two way orientation, positioning of the charging light and the fitting of the base are great. BUT the stand is let down by two key flaws! The size, it's so big compared to other wireless chargers. And the noise! It is so loud when charging! My guess is that the "heat control" mentioned in the Sony specs is just a big fan taking up most of the overly large case. But the noise is such that I can't leave the phone charging on my bedside while sleeping, and videos require the sound turning up to compensate.It also doesn't work particularly well with the official cover Sony have for the XZ2. In either orientation the phone cover swings open, which blurs the screen... Meaning it's not useful for watching videos.Honestly for a cheaper price this would be much less of an issue, but there are many better chargers on Amazon. Just make sure you read the reviews so you get one you can trust!
