Some people have commented that it is thick but with a drop of water really nice.

Does what it says. High coverage, not 50 SPF which would make it really good. Stays in place and matte not shiny.

A little goes along way. Face looks smoother.

What can I say? I do love Horace products: As per this moisturiser it does works by mattifying the skin, but it doesn't "feel" like a moisturiser, it feels thick like the suncream you would smear all over your face while on holidays in Spain.That is not bad per se but it's "different". I do like it suppose to be a moisturiser with mattifying effect plus sun protection (as it should be) and despite being thick it does absorbs quickly.Also a little goes far so it doesn't feel heavy on the face. This is my morning moisturiser after the Horace salicylic serum. At night I use the Horace bio retinol followed by the Hirace moisturiser without sun protection. (All for obvious reasons)Best skincare routine I've ever had, money well spent, backed by science and endorsed by me.

Wasn’t what I expected… the dry flat finish… I know it says matifying, but a bit too flat for me.

There actually is a subtle white cast, so their claim that it leaves ‘no white residue’ is untruthful. If you are already pale, the application of this product will make you look instantly even paler. It also leaves your skin looking dull, flat and lifeless. I found an alternative product by Garnier called invisible fluid, which truly leaves no white cast and is mattifying.

This Horace facial moisturiser is a lite non greasy moisturiser which leaves my face feeling protected from the elements (great British winter). I imagine it will be good for warmer weather too. A very small amount applied in the morning lasts me all day. I can recommend it!

At the time of this review this product isn’t currently available from this seller on the Horsce website directly it cost around £17I’ve used a few Horace products before having started out with one of their men’s eau du toilette FragrancesI hadn’t tried the rich face moisturiser until I received this one.The description says that it nourishes without residue or shiny effect which found to be very accurate.It’s a good moisturiser and you don’t need too much.It’s recommended to use it morning or evening, I used it post shave in the morning.If you’re looking for a rich moisturiser that doesn’t leave your face shiny and that doesn’t have any perfume in it this one is certainly good and I would recommend it.I found it didn’t irritate my eyes, which was a problem with some other moisturisersIt’s made from organic friendly ingredients of Pearl oil and Shea butterIf you are thinking about buying done I hope you find the video and this review helpful
