same ingredients as advantage ii but cheaper
This has the same ingredients as advantage ii (for dogs and cats) so i divide it for my cats (I have 12) to save money. You cannot do this with Advantix it is toxic to cats so make sure you look at the ingredients and that they match ingredients to advantage ii (you can also use original advantage to do this but adv. ii has an added ingredient for the life cycle of the fleas so that's why i use it). Just fyi some cats are still affected and become weak from this but will recover in a few days. It is rare. My orange tabby is affected by any flea tick medicine including yard granules and any that are specific to cats. But all my other cats were fine. I have decided to use a homeopathic powder for my orange tabby. To use this on cats I empty the contents of one container into a small bottle or something with a lid. I then take a small syringe (needle discarded) to draw up .04 ml (for cats under 9 lbs, over 9 lbs use .08 ml) and place on neck between shoulder blades like directed. if you look at other reviews of Advantage (regular or II) there are other people that do this. If you buy the package for dogs 55 lbs and up you can get up to ten cats from one tube! Quite a savings!

Worked perfectly
I tried a different flea medicine this year for my two dogs and it just didn't seem to work. I got this and used it on them and it worked perfectly. Started killing fleas in 30 minutes and all fleas were gone after 24 hours

So Far, Good
Two things I usually look for in a generic are that it's distributed by an established company (not some relative fly-by-night), and that it's essentially the same as a decent brand, preferably including the "inactive"/carrier ingredients when they play a role in efficacy. This product seems to fit the bill, and typically at around 15-18 bucks here and elsewhere. The actives are the same. The combined safety data sheet for the dog and cat products, although a bit vague vs. Advantage II, is very similar, and the liquid smells and "behaves" pretty much the same, from the greasy mess if Fido (or Felix at a much smaller dose) shakes himself right after application, to the approximate time it takes to distribute so you can stop being cautious in handling him. It's even from Germany like the stuff made for Bayer. It can leave a little powdery residue, but so far it appears to work as well, as should be expected if it isn't exposed to extreme temperatures along the way.

Works like a charm.
We have 4 cats and 2 dogs, one of which has a terrible flea allergy, so fleas are a constant issue in our house. We have wasted so much money on topical flea treatments that don't work (Frontline I'm looking at you) that we were paying a lot for premium flea medication from our vet (Nextguard). It works but one dog had an odd skin reaction to it (like hives, bumps, but not itchy or flat, which caused hair loss after they receeded). Plus, did I mention it's expensive? So on to something new. Capstar and capstar generics work well in a pinch, but are not a permanent solution for us. I've used Advantage 2 in previous years with some success, but it seemed less effective the last 2 years. I did not have high hopes for this generic version, but we were desperate as flea season has started and I wanted to get a jump on it before it got really bad. For some reason, like a miracle, it seems to work like a charm. We buy it in this bulk size and measure it out with a dropper to dose all the animals accordingly. I also use a higher end flea spray around the house and vacuum every few days. We are 99% flea -free right now. I highly recommend Crossblock as a major part of a flea treatment plan.

It works!
I use this crossblock2 for my dog and cat. Effective for the full month, unlike other generics I've tried. I will definitely buy again.

It works, rids pets of fleas FAST
We use this to protect our pets during flea season. It is the only topical treatment that has actually worked for us in recent years. The older, trusted brands no longer are effective. We purchase the large dog formula and dose it as 0.8ml per ten pounds for our smaller animals, per our vet. This works out even more cost efficient! It is safe to be used on any animal when dosed correctly. It is important when treating your animals that you treat all animals on your premises, repeating in 3-4 weeks, to be sure to kill all life cycles.
