Very nice color-changing packets. These lasted full color for about 5 minutes and then residual/minor color changes to the flames for about 25. Like another commenter mentioned, it’s more effective to use two packets at once as the effects are additive. My only critique is that they only change the flames to various shades of blue instead of the pictured pink and other colors.

It's like fireworks without the noise

I've used color changing fire sticks and packets in the past, but they were always the same one or two colors, and they didn't last very long. That is not the case with these packets. The instructions say to simply throw the whole packet into the fire, and that's it. So simple... The number of different colors these produce runs through the whole rainbow, and once we threw a packet into the fire it lasted for a noticeably long time. We started with one or two packets and only put in two or three more over the course of the evening. I ended up bringing home half the box. Just make sure you get your hotdog and marshmallow time out of the way, first, as the packaging states VERY clearly that you should not cook on these flames and certainly not eat the contents of the packets. So much fun, and so simply. We will take a few of these packets on all of our camping adventures going forward as they were such a hit for both the adults and the kids.
