LDR Industries L-Shaped Shower Arm Extension, 12-Inch Length, Great for Rainfall and Adjustable Showerheads, Brushed Nickel Finish

I purchased this to extend my rain shower head farther from the wall in my bathroom giving it a more custom look and making it feel less crowded, but I needed it to match other brushed nickel fixtures that I had already purchased, including the new shower head and tub spout. This worked perfectly for what I needed it and was the same or better quality than anything I could find at my local home improvement stores.If you haven't installed one of these before, I recommend you watch a few videos on the topic since there's a bit of an art to it and it can be costly if you make a mistake. In particular, you want to be ready in case you have trouble getting the old shower nozzle off of the pipe in the wall. This can be tricky and will be expensive if you damage the pipes by mistake.We watched a few videos and were well prepared for what we might encounter, but luckily ours removed easily and we installed the new one in a few minutes. This also came with the matching escuchen/wall plate, which ensures a nice clean finish, so we installed that with a little plumber's putty to ensure it stayed put (not included).I've had this for several months now and it still looks new and works flawlessly. Save yourself the trouble and cost of a trip to the home improvement store and just order this one instead.

I looked around quite a bit for a new shower arm before buying this one. The installation was pretty easy, but I am still keeping an eye out for leaks. The product looks and feels nice, very simple and clean, and the switch from a traditional shower arm to this L-shaped arm has transformed my shower experience. We have a small shower stall with just a curtain for a door, and water no longer sprays hard against the back wall and splashes out onto the bathroom floor. I used our existing Kohler shower head and it works great with this arm. It was a small change with a huge positive effect!

It was perfect fit like a glove, very durable.It looks great was worth the money.

Did not dislike anything, matches our shower head and provided the results we were looking for.

Use teflon tape when you install. Does not restrict water flow. Not as pretty as the square from another company that I sent back but works much better. If installed properly, it does not leak (most important thing)

Easy to install. The threading was good so no problems with getting it installed. The flange is of good size and kept me from having to use the old flange.My only regret was not removing the old pipe first before ordering. If I had I would have discovered the feed pipe was way in the back of the opening. If I had known this I would have looked for a longer pipe. It is still a much needed improvement over the old out pipe.
