It’s a great band for tennis elbow to help relieve pain. The Velcro band that allows for smaller sized arms was a must for me and it was comfortable wearing it for an extended period of time. Definitely would recommend it.

I work out and could not keep the velcro from slipping and coming unsecured. Would not spend the $ again.

This brace does not open up and allow a custom fit. It's a band of elastic and neoprene material that one has to pull onto the forearm. There is a velcro strap that can be wrapped around, but its wholly unnecessary because the circumference of brace is already too tight. I have average size forearms and it was way too tight. I don't know how a man with larger forearms could even get this on. It was returned for the kind that are wrapped around and custom fitted.

The hand specialist I saw recommended an elbow brace that is wide, like this one, but against stretchy velcro. There is too much give. In order to get suitable pressure when flexing, the strap had to be very tight which was uncomfortable and it didn't help my tendonitis. I found a different item, from Senteq (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GY7AIRW) was the right thing for my situation.

I didn't really like this brace. The padded part that is supposed to push on your arm and distribute the strain, on this runs parallel to your arm and is only as wide as my middle finger. My other brace works better as the pad runs across your arm, and this works better. This one was hard to keep in position and slipped about easily as I was active while wearing it. That is the point, to wear when you are actively using your hand and arm.
