Color Analysis Draping Kit, At Home Color Season Kit (Essential)

I was apprehensive about spending so much on this kit—seventy-some for a few swatches of fabric seemed pretty pricey. I looked into buying individual drapes and making my own, but didn’t know where to start, so I bit the bullet and bought this. IT’S WORTH THE MONEY. I would have never been able to properly categorize these shades, or know what to juxtapose to determine someone’s ideal colors. This system for determining your palette is both easy and sophisticated. I wish they split the seasons into the sub seasons (e.g., soft autumn, dark winter, light spring etc), instead they just split everyone who doesn’t fall neatly into a season into “bright neutral” or “soft neutral.” Thankfully I have enough knowledge to then pinpoint which sub-season that person is. This is a great starter kit. I printed more resources from the internet and laminated everything, and I’m looking forward to using this for years to come! Really fun party game. I haven’t tried washing any of the fabrics, so I don’t know if the colors will bleed in the wash. So we will see how durable it is. In the meantime, I’ll just try to keep it clean!

We purchased 2 sets of the drapes for a work activity and we had such a great time with it. The drapes are good quality, well packaged and instructions were easy to follow. Everyone enjoyed the process and were so impressed and excited to learn their colour season as well as see the colour palette that suits them best. We have even decided to purchase a few more sets to have another round with a bigger group of attendees. Definitely recommend this kit.Shipping time was accurate but the only downside was Amazon holding a forced import fee deposit and we did not get taxed at customs and received no notification from Amazon. Upon checking, we were informed by Amazon refund will take 180 days which is 6 months of them holding our money. Unfortunately the seller has no control over this matter.

I can't really say enough about these. I am a Mary Kay consultant and we have learned to use these. It's an amazing tool and it really helps to show people what their colors are. And what looks great on them. Definitely recommend and if I need to I would buy again..

The media could not be loaded. I wish it had included more colors people typically wear — there were several obscure ones that would be difficult to find in a department store garment today. I wish it had more primary colors and a few variants, and several shades of grey would be super helpful, as that is a common struggle— especially in the coming cooler months. But the kit is put together well, the fabric sizes are perfect, and we had a lot of fun with it at a friends’ getaway.

I’ve used this for two parties and love this kit. Easy to use and tons of great entertainment. You walk away knowing which colors are the best for you!

It's a fine kit for starting out, but I didn't receive the color analysis sheet for comparing colors or the instructions sheet either ☹️

I ordered this and did it with my daughter and our friends. It was so fun and insightful! Then, my daughter took it on a youth trip and did it with all her friends. Then, we ordered more kits and had an event at church. Everyone loved it. I highly recommend this for groups of ladies everywhere.

The fabric squares are nicely hemmed and labeled. The kit includes instructions on how to use the fabric in directed draping sessions to determine someone’s season.
