Works very well. I'm super happy with my purchase, if you make gummies on the regular, I highly suggest it. It only will hold a little over a cup.

I thought this would be something fun to try with the kids, and for myself to make some homemade supplements (creatine gummies!). As others have commented, the included mixes are just OK. They aren't the best textured or the best tasting gummies by any means. The machine works well and we had no issues with the gummy quality resulting from the process. And while making them is kind of fun, but the cleanup is quite a mess. For about $169 currently, I just don't see it being worth the price to me and it isn't something I really want to do over & over to eventually justify the price point.

I’ve recently gotten into making gummies on the stove using a turkey baster to fill molds, and while that method works, this kit definitely offers a more streamlined and convenient approach. The design is thoughtful as you can heat, mix, and dispense all in one go, which eliminates the mess and hassle of switching between pans and tools. The included trays are also a nice touch but they are a bit stiffer making unfolding a little more involved. It is possible they are too high quality it impedes their function slightly, but are overall good.However, there are a few drawbacks. First, there are no included instructions for how to use the device with anything outside the branded gummy mix, which is expensive. I wish the magic butter machine was packaged more as a kitchen appliance with recipes instead of a proprietary item to only use twitch their mixes. The buttons on the base also aren’t very responsive as I found myself pressing multiple times, unsure if it had registered just to finally hear a noticeable beep.As for the gummy packet itself, it claims to make 30 gummies, but I filled both included trays (which had a total of 45 cavities each) and still had some mix left over. Unfortunately, the mixture began to seize up shortly after the gummy function finished, making it hard to pour everything into the molds and resulting in some waste of about 1/6 the total batch. Given the cost of the packets, that’s pretty frustrating and feels wasteful. I wonder if there is some adjustment needed to keep warm a bit longer for filling molds.Overall, it’s a nice kit that works, and I can see how it would appeal to people making infused gummies or using it regularly (maybe even for a side hustle). But for the average home cook or someone just experimenting, the high price is hard to justify. You can make gummies with a little more effort using basic kitchen tools and budget ingredients if you don’t mind a little extra work.

Very disappointed have been making gummies for a few years. My levo mixer works so much better. A shame because I have other magical products that I am very happy with. They missed the mark with this one.

The kids love DIY food and drink products so this was right up their alley. We all love gummies so they were excited about getting to make their own!For those that do infusions, there is definitely added value here as the machine does most of the work for you. It's a lot more convenient than a completely "from scratch" process.You get everything you need to make your own gummies - gummy maker, 2 silicone molds, and 4 bags of gummy mix. (2 cherry and 2 blue raspberry)To get started, just add one entire bag of gummy mix and your water to the machine and push the button. (you can also add your own flavorings or infusions if you want) That's it. The gummy maker does the rest. Once the cycle is finished, you just turn the machine upside down and dispense the gummy mixture into the molds. It can get a little goopy at times so you may have to stir a bit to keep things smooth and flowable.The gummies on their own, with no added flavorings or infusions, are just okay. I definitely think the targeted audience is going to be adding their own infusions to these, not just eating them as is. The flavors are okay, nothing special or memorable. The kids thought they were decent but probably wouldn't be enthused enough to ask for them again.The machine is SUPER easy to use and works well. The actual gummy making process is easy. It's the clean up that isn't so easy. (and you know the kids are never super motivated to help with any of that!) lol The gummy residue can be a pain to clean up and not all of the parts are dishwasher safe.If you make a lot of gummies or are interested in experimenting with different infusions and flavorings, this would be a great place to start! For those of us that are just interested in making our own fruit flavored gummies at home, it can get a little tedious at times.
