I thought these would work great for my fan, so i bought them....they do look awesome, but i almost sent them back. See, my fan has these globes that screw on, so when i got these cages, they didn’t fit under the lid i guess you would call it, and they didn’t go small enough for the candelabra light socket...plus like i said, they wouldn’t fit under the lid thing. Well, i decided to play Incredible Hulk and just used my muscles and spread the cages apart and put them on top of the lid thing where the previous ugly glass globes screwed onto. Once i got them on top of the lid, i had to actually use some pliers to hold the cage back together close enough to put the screws in them so the cages would go back to the normal size. Once i got the screws tightened on both sides, it fit perfectly. I had to tighten them down all the way, but they don’t move or wobble. In the pix, i didn’t change light bulbs as i already had the daylight Edison ones. But it didn’t really look good with the tea stained ( i think that’s the color) looking globes. I can SURE tell a difference now! I will probably buy some for my bathroom fixture now that i know how to install them

These worked perfect as a quick a cheap upgrade to an ugly chandelier! Eventually we will change out the light fixtures but for now this looks way better! These are super easy to install and they are made well and are definitely a great buy for the price!

I wanted to set up grow lights for my plants but didn’t want a “grow light” look. These are great and cheap (compared to ‘real’ pendant lights).The screws are kind of a pain to tighten so I broke out the power drill. Didn’t break anything so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Our ceiling fan was outdated and didn't fit our home style. Simply painted the blades, replaced the shades and added Edison light bulbs. Perfect!At first I didn't think these lamp cages would work as they didn't fit inside the rim like the glass ones did. Almost sent them back because I couldn't quite figure out how to make it work. Played around with the fitting a bit more and was able to make them work. Simply fitted them over the socket and then tightened the screws--voila, modern industrial ceiling fan. It was a bit of a pain trying to hold the cage straight and tighten the screws other than that, easy to install.Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable ceiling fan upgrade.

These are so cool! I spray-painted them in matte/brushed silver with the rest oleum spray paint. Came out amazing! My ceiling fan was all white but I took it down and gave it a fresh coat of paint. So happy with the results, as I really didn't want to buy a brand new ceiling fan and really couldn't find one that I like. Very happy would highly recommend. Came out amazing! They came in a box with little other packaging, and two of them were damaged, one severely so and another just barely. I managed to hammer out the one that was slightly less damaged and I thankfully only needed 3 of the 4, but it’s still somewhat frustrating. They looked pretty good when I put them over the lights, were a bit bigger than I anticipated but they’re growing on me. For anyone wondering, I live in a pretty crappy apartment with mostly every default, standard, or otherwise cheaply made appliance known to man, and these fit perfectly over the lightbulbs. I plan on investing in some dimmer lights, a lot of people in these reviews suggest them so I’ll give them a try. I’m glad I only needed 3 of them, otherwise this would be a much worse review.

These just arrived today. I just love how they look. Totally updated my kitchen easily. Easy install. I may or may not change over my light bulbs. I am very happy with my purchase. Easier and less expensive than buying new pendant lights. Five stars.

Good industrial shade for an update nice for the price. I used to update a ceiling fan.Two Things of Note: 1) They are bigger than the glass shades they replaced. My fan only had 3 bulbs so it was fine but 4 might be too many. 2) The close clamp is adjustable to fit the diameter you need but the clamps protrude where the screws go and are too wide to fit inside the decorative light base. It sits just outside of the shade base. Not the end of the world just something to be aware of if it will bug you.
