Beautiful and practical
At first it bothered me because it didn't have AA batteries, I didn't have batteries, but I ordered some rechargeable ones on Amazon, I've been using it for almost a month and the truth is that everything has worked well and I liked it, I think one more

Easy install, fingerprint recognition works well, but some quirks
[ITEM]: Foxgard Smart Fingerprint Door Lock: Fingerprint Door Knob-Biometric 5-in-1 Finger Print Door Lock-Smart Door Knob for Bedroom-APP Control-Easy Installation–Square Silver–1 Pack[BRAND]: Foxgard[SIZE]: 6.3L x 2.64W x 2.48H inches[MATERIAL]: Aluminum[COLOR]: Silver[LOCK TYPE]: App Control, Biometric and Touchscreen Keypad________________________________________‖PROS‖1. [EASY APP SETUP]: Downloading the app and adding the lock were straightforward. Finding and adding the door lock was easy.2. [FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION]: Installing the knob was mostly hassle-free—it can be mounted in either direction based on your need. There are steps to level square hole of the bolt and install a new latch, but neither of those ended up being necessary for my install, as the new mechanism worked with my existing setup.3. [QR CODE VIDEOS]: The QR code-linked videos in the directions helped clarify installation steps. A quick watch resolved some initial confusion about which way to insert the bolt.________________________________________‖CONS‖1. [BATTERY-POWERED]: Contrary to my assumption, the lock relies on 4 AAA batteries—not USB-C charging. The instructions warn you not to use rechargeable batteries, but not why. This is disappointing as I am trying to move away from using batteries – rechargeable or otherwise—and, I don’t particularly want to keep spare on hand so I don’t risk being locked out unexpectedly.2. [APP NAVIGATION CHALLENGES]: Navigating the app isn’t intuitive. Finding account settings (essential for managing access) can be frustrating. Finding your way to adding PIN codes & fingerprints after initial setup, may require some patience until you familiarize yourself with the app.3. [FAMILY MEMBER PROFILES]: To grant access to family members, they must register separate accounts. It’d be more convenient if I could manage their access under one profile. Currently, I have put multiple members’ fingerprints under my profile, but that kind of defeats the point of having a customizable lock. (You can grant individual members different access, but not different fingerprints.)4. [TRICKY IC CARDS]: Setting up the IC cards was a headache. After days of trial and error, only two cards successfully paired, and only one card ever successfully opened the door. The code entry method is also quirky.5. [ALEXA INTEGRATION LIMITATIONS]: Despite claims the account had linked to my Alexa account, I couldn’t get Alexa to recognize the lock. Perhaps it’s not fully supported, or I missed a step.6. [HANDLE DESIGN CONCERNS]: The handle sitting over the door (rather than into it) could be a vulnerability. While you’re probably not using this lock on a high-security door, it’s worth considering________________________________________‖FINAL THOUGHTS‖The Foxgard Smart Fingerprint Door Lock delivers on its main promise—the fingerprint feature works reliably. It’s good for discouraging little ones - or roommates with sticky fingers - from wandering into your room when you’re not around. However, you by no means would want to use this on an external door to prevent motivated burglars.Improvements like better IC card functionality, USB-C charging, and providing battery status in the app would elevate its usability. At the $59 price at the time I received this lock, I would hope those features would be better. However, with the $20 coupon available at the time of this review, you might find sacrificing perfection will get you a lot of convenience for your buck.

Easy install, and even easier access
This fingerprint door handle lock is really easy to install and use. I was dreading the installation because door knobs and dead bolts usually take quite a while to swap out, but this door handle fingerprint lock was easy, and it allowed me to install the lock and enter the fingerprints/users very quickly. It looks great, and I can use my fingerprint, the key or the fob to gain access. Great product that doesn’t disappoint!

5 Ways to Unlock, 2 Ways to Frustrate
The media could not be loaded. Aside from it’s elegant looks, this FoxGuard smart fingerprint door knob offers 5 unlock options, but only 3 are worth using.- The fingerprint scanner- Tuya Smart phone app, and- the trusty mechanical key.The remaining two; fussy fob and unsecured keypad are more hassle than help. When it comes to security, here’s the bummer:There is this feature called code privacy, in theory, it’s designed to keep prying eyes away from your codes by letting you enter random numbers with the correct code hidden inside. In reality, it’s gives an opportunity for outsiders to enter any sequence numbers and if they accidentally entered the right combination in that sequence, it would be a free pass. Unfortunately, this absurd feature can’t be turned off. To patch this, either don’t use keypad or create 10 digits code.My front door strategy?Stick to the app, the fingerprint, and the good old mechanical key. The rest? Just extra baggage.

Good smart handle
I like that this smart handle is at an angle instead of being straight up and down - it makes it less awkward to have your thumbprint scanned. The installation on this is so simple - a child could do it in under 20 minutes. The fingerprint sensor is accurate and responsive - unlocking occurs in a fraction of a second after your fingerprint is read. I haven't used the fobs and almost never use the app because the fingerprint sensor is the star of the show here. At the price it was listed for when I ordered, I consider this a good value.

Incredible fingerprint door knob for 40 bucks!
I've yet to see a less expensive electronic door knob with Bluetooth (also Wi-Fi if you have a Tuya compatible hub), with full fingerprint unlocking capabilities. This thing does it all at a fraction of the cost of competing products. My only complaint is the fact that this uses 4 AAA batteries which is just extremely annoying because if you use rechargeables, a fully recharged set already displays 78% battery straight out of the charger. The battery does last at least a month. However, during extreme winter frigid days, the AAA batteries freeze and stop energizing the entire unit altogether. So always make sure you either have the included key in your person or a portable power bank.Regardless of the cold temperature and 4 AAA battery situation, this will work flawlessly every time throughout the rest of the year.If you get a Bluetooth to Wi-Fi hub compatible with Tuya app, you'll be able to open and close the door remotely. It's very nifty. Otherwise, this unit works great via Bluetooth as well.Install was easy and the fit and finish is perfect. If highly recommend this Foxgard smart fingerprint door lock for my fellow Amazon shoppers.
