DURHAND 7-Drawer Rolling Tool Chest on Wheels Lockable Metal Red

This tool chest has been a great addition to the garage. The drawers open smoothly and feel solid even when they’re fully loaded with heavier tools. There’s plenty of space to separate everything properly so you’re not hunting around for the same bits every time. I added my own toolbox on top of the chest and it fit perfectly, which makes the whole setup even more useful. The top stays stable and doesn’t wobble when you open drawers underneath. The lock works as it should and the wheels and side handle make it easy to move around without feeling flimsy. The metal build feels strong and the finish looks good. It’s a practical, reliable unit that tidies up the workspace and makes tools much easier to find. Good chest and good value for money.

So far, so good. It's a great size and having two smaller drawers makes for more versatility on tool storage. I'd even ran out of drawers needed, so filled the bottom drawer with rarely used, heavier tools to balance the weight. Previous reviews had said about damage to the base. No issues here, the toolbox is well packaged in cardboard, polystyrene and ply frames top and bottom. The handle is right side only and in ready tapped holes. Would have been nice to have the option but not end of world stuff. I did buy drawer organisers but the top drawers aren't deep so take that into account if you're planning the same. Advice for when you build it (I didn't bother with instructions) two wheels are swivel castors, the other two are fixed. Make sure you decide which wheels are where before you tighten everything up. Brilliant quality and price. Should have bought one sooner!

Great set of metal drawers but they did arrive with a dent on the rear. I'm not bothered too much as it fits under my counter so will never be viewed. A little too heavy for a courier to handle I'm guessing. Slide drawers are great. They come with foam on each shelf and a rubber mat on top. There is a key for all drawers too. Feels solid and the wheels are lockable. Wish I'd have bought one years ago.

Many of the reviews for this and, more importantly, other similar tool cabinets suggest the products are thin, shoddy or arrive damaged. That has not been my experience. This unit arrived in perfect condition, was easy to assemble, (the wheels, the handle), and is everything I was hoping for. I suppose it is a little wobbly and insubstantial when completely empty but, once you’ve locked the wheels and loaded up the shelves with tools, it is reassuringly solid. The shelves click closed quite satisfyingly and give easy access to all your tools. They are lined with useful rubber matting and feel sturdy and unlikely to break unless handled roughly. Maybe this wouldn't be the product for a professional workshop but for the home user, I think this does very well for the price. I would recommend it.

Very poor quality flimsy and size is absolutely not usable. I went with Amazon on this item because I thought everything was good quality but this takes the biscuit. I will have to return it but I’ve built it and find it hard to return.

For the price it’s ok. What let the score down was the fact that there was dents on the front, underside and on the top box lips. However, as I say it good for the price and works a treat.

Item was packed damaged as no damage to packaging. No castors or bolts supplied. No bolts for handles. To be returned.
