One of the really nice things about this system is the frequency in which the filters must be changed. The PCF Filter must be changed every 8 or 9 months, the CB filter is to be changed every 12 months and the UF filter needs to be changed every 24 months. I had a sulfur issue with my well and this took the smell right out of the water. The water now is flavorless and is super refreshing.

I live somewhere that we have had flesh eating amoebas in our tap water, so I'm very glad I got this system. It installed under the sink in about an hour, most of that time was me questioning what I was doing because I've never really touched plumbing before, but it was a simple process that even I could do. The biggest benefit was that we immediately noticed a difference in the water flavor, and it was a big improvement.

To put it as simply as possible this is a pretty good, standard filter. It filters up harmful bacteria, organisms, metals and other contaminants up to 0.01 micron. This means that you will still have heavy metal ions and fluorine left over. You need a nanofiltration system or Reverse Osmosis for that so be aware.Also it is also good to have a uv filter after your mechanical filter to kill in organisms or bacteria that make it through.Outside of that this filter is good. I ordered the Ultra-Filtration Under-Sink Water Filter System to be used with a dedicated drinking water spigot mounted in the sprayer hole in our Kitchen Sink, that is where we generally go for drinking water and Ice. Our house is hooked to a deep well, the water tastes good but began to have a funny smell to it the last couple of years, the Health Dept. tested the water and says it's good. Nothing really fancy about this--it's just a solidly made, stainless still under sink filtration system that just works. Installation is extremely simple and if you can use a wrench you can do it yourself. It filters quickly and delivers a decent flow rate which means you don't have to wait forever to get the water out of the faucet. The filters are even reasonably priced. Can't argue with fresh, clean and tasty water. Highly recommended!

This has really helped us not need bottled waters! The taste is much better and now we just fill up our Stanley's at the sink!

This does a great job (I think) cleaning the water. The instructions weren't too hard to understand but you do need some basic knowledge of how under your sink functions, etc. Definitely worth the money saved in bottled water. Great buy!
