Excellent Digital Metronome
I bought a few of these as Christmas presents for my 'very-musical-but-of-questionable-timekeeping' family (my apologies... this may be the drummer in me speaking). I've always preferred digital metronomes to mechanical ones for obvious reasons... but so few of them look the part, have the versatility that electronics allow or are sensibly priced. You have at one end, ones that just 'click' and have a tempo control... and then at the other, they're basically hideously expensive pared-back drum machines. What I really like about these is they're small, look neat (like a baby classic pyramid pendulum metronome... but without the... er... pendulum) and have lots of 'downbeat' and 'sub-division' options. They also have some great features such as 'Tap Tempo', reference pitches, a practice timer, a choice of metronome tones such as clockwork metronome, drum sticks, cowbell, sequencer click track, a more-useful-than-you-think 'counting voice'... and with quite a loud onboard speaker (with volume control) to throw them through (but features a headphone output if that isn't loud enough).Hard to fault them really. And as gifts, they've gone down very well with their recipients. Pretty sure their musical timekeeping will consequently improve! :-)

Overpriced
This would be better priced at say £17.99. No way is it worth £50! Very small and plasticky. The beat sounds are very synthetic sounding and the display difficult to see if sitting above playing guitar.I have sent mine back and will stick with the MA 1 which cost £10.

Love it!
I bought the white one [because it looked good on the site]. It looks great on my piano, nice and small so it can sit next to the music and not take up too much space. I particularly like the volume control [which you don't get with a mechanical metronome].The knob on the front is a lot more convenient for setting time than repetitively pushing buttons. I use it all the time for practice. Excellent.

Love it...
An excellent product that compliments my collection of traditional Wittner metronomes. Not sure what they mean by pyramid style though., unless there is a hidden chamber inside. Its just a cute stubby little thing but I still love it.

Good metronome
Good loud Click and chime, ideal for loud instruments like saxophones. Dropped it plenty of times (on carpet) with no problems. Probably the best I have out of six metronomes, would have been nicer if it was a bit cheaper.

Pricey but great
Pricey for what it is, but better, smaller and with more options than it’s predecessor, version 2. It really looks lovely on the shelf and it does all I need really nicely.

Nice piece of kit!
Good device simple controls and has a decent non-intrusive "classic" metronome sound option. Flexible volume and seeing by music time signature or absolute best frequency.Only annoyance is inability to remove sharper/louder bar first beat as an option.

Quality Metronome
Excellent. Not only does it make a really good mechanical type click, it also has a 1 2 3 4 type speech that I wasn't expecting.Volume is excellent, adjustable from a whisper to fingers-in-ears loud.I am very happy with this.
