Purchased the ThermoPro TP211B, and I’m extremely pleased so far. It exceeded my expectations. I’m using it to monitor my aluminum wood fired hot tub, and it is a game changer! It has made a improvement in my ability to monitor and control the temperature of the wood fired hot tub. I was worried that the aluminum tub sides would block the wireless signal, but it worked great, and I was able to place the receiver display conveniently on the living room table indoors (about 30ft away), and it displayed the water temp flawlessly. The receiver display is nice and big and easy to read from across the room. The system is well designed and transmitter quite rugged. I’ve only used it one weekend so far, so I can speak to long term reliability, but the 1 year warrantee and support appears to be good. I also like the fact that it uses basic AAA batteries. Highly recommended.

After a month the product was working fine. Recently the digital display on the transmitter (the piece that floats in the pool) stopped working. The transmitter still transmits water temperature to the receiver, but I have to physically reset the connection every morning. I placed the receiver about 30 feet from the pool and the only interference is my patio doors. I also wish there was a phone app I could use to sense the temperature remotely, but that is my fault for misreading the original description. I wouldn't buy this again, I cheaped out, I guess you get what you pay for.

After returning the first unit because it "Simply Didn't work", Amazon sent me a new one within a couple of days.The second unit worked like a charm- Easy set up and worked immediately. Accurate temperatures pool and atmosphere!

UpdateA little over a months use and it leaked and is useless now. What a disappointment. Not to mention 1 week past my return window with Amazon.So this company is awesome they shipped me a new one at no additional cost. Great customer service, they went from 1 star to 5 stars truly amazing.

Purchased this to use in our outdoor cold plunge tub. After 3 weeks I can report it Works flawlessly and it was super easy to set up. The ambient temperature seems to be just a few degrees, but still relatively accurate. The water temp gauges is within 1 degree of my inkbird temperature controller readout, so I have pretty good confidence that it reports accurate temps.I'll try to remember to update my review if I run into any issues. Seems to be a really good value for the price and functionality.

I bought other models. This one works really well so far. The other models I've had did not last So we'll see how this one works, but I do like the size of it. It seems very temperature proper. And it's kind of fun that it has A magnet on it so I just keep it on the fridge.

Stopped working after 2 weeks. Not sure what happened but everything was working perfect. All of a sudden, it stopped transmitting and there seems to be water in the water tight display for the transmitter that goes in the pool. Maybe I had a bad one as everything up until today was perfect but after one rain it stopped working.Update, they contacted me and are replacing my unit. They said it seems I just received a defective unit. I’ll keep posted with how the new one is.

stopped working after 5 weeks. water had leaked into pool thermostat, must have shorted electronics. new batteries did not help
