I'm not sure why so many people don't like this toy. My kids have a lot of trains and this one is super fun! We have Brio, ikea, Thomas, and this set. It works great! We made exactly what was on the package, and then we made a crazy rail all through our living room. We paired it with duplo connectors. I highly recommend it for the raised pieces.

This is really 3.5 stars but I have it fours stars because the other lukewarm reviews already set my expectations and I still purchased.I specifically wanted multi-level loop tracks and so the design concept is great and I didn’t have to figure out the pieces required. That’s the big pro. Also, it’s difficult to find multi-level pillars that you can stack and is tall enough for different train heights since they all vary by a bit, and just enough to not fit underneath. These pillars were just a tad too short for my remote control train, although it is just tall enough for the train it comes with (but isn’t remote control)As others have mentioned, the entire setup is very very unstable and for sure you can’t even sneeze near it. Knowing this, I ordered bunch of legos to build my own stable pillars. However, the cost of the legos (knock-offs) were nearly the same as the cost of this entire kit so I can definitely imagine most folks don’t want to do that, especially since this supposedly self contained kit. Even then, it’s very very challenging to set up; you’d probably need to permanently affix all the tracks and pieces for perfectly smooth operation every time.Without the legos, I’d have likely returned this kit, so if you don’t have the patience, consider this just for the pieces; although even then, there are other kits with just as many pieces without the pillars.Video is fast forwarded 10x for length.

Warning: this set is a complete disappointment. Constantly falls apart. How can you, as manufacturers/ seller sell such crap for children. It’s outrageous. You know how excited a child would be to see and have such an enticing toy- until they play with it and it constantly falls apart. You’re such a disgrace. I bought this for my grandson, thinking I was doing the right thing and all it does it aggravate him. Do you think that’s fair? I sure don’t. Your greed for the money rather than the enjoyment for a child is despicable. Don’t buy!!!!! The manufacturer/seller should refund my money. I’m truly po’d

The media could not be loaded. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bucket of High Quality Wooden Train Set - Starter Kit! For years I’ve been adding to my grandsons’ train set collection. Have also become an expert at building train tracks for the boys. Am happy to say they have recently moved here, not far from grandma. Although I’ve been carrying toys back and forth for them, am also working on a designated play area for them at my home where we can leave the train set up and ready to run whenever they can visit. This train set will make a great starter set here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It looked extremely amazing until trying to set it up. The instructions are very vague and to just follow pictures is a pain. Then all the pieces don't fit necessarily together or connect. To top it off it can't be built on carpet.

Good wooden train track set. However the instructions aren’t super clear how to build it. Also the connector holder pieces aren’t super stable so they seem to fall off during play time. Makes it a little difficult for my son to stabilize his bridges and ramps he likes to make. Other than that the set is versatile and great addition for the young train enthusiasts.

This really is a greatcproduct...however the only thing I don't like about it is how sensitive the build is. The track levels don't like up exactly, so each "floor" is resting differently on the plastic holders. Even so much as one breath could take the whole thing down. So this toy around active toddlers is not a good idea, no a good idea of they want to play with the helipad, or crane. Bc it will just fall apart 🫠

The media could not be loaded. Quality wood and plastic materials. Even the box is heavy duty and good for storage. Looks nice in our house. Our older child helped build the track for my little niece to play with. The older child actually enjoyed it and compared it to designing and building a Lego set. Have to be a little careful not to knock the higher levels down during play.
