mercury 120.802 UK Omnidirectional FM Aerial - Silver

was used for my radios very pleased with aerial!

I have been using this aerial with my HiFi audio receiver for two weeks. I get clear sound, reliably, from all of the BBC radio channels that I tune into. I have mounted the aerial in my roof space, with the plane of the aerial vertical and at 90 degrees to the line from my house to the transmitter mast. To be fair, the transmitter is within a couple of miles of the house, so I guess conditions are not stringent!The aerial's construction is sound. What little assembling was needed I managed easily. You do need an "F connector" and of course a coaxial cable to connect the aerial to your radio's "external antenna" socket. Amazon's page for the aerial does mention that you will probably need to buy the F connector but it would have been nice if the product package included one, even if that increased the overall price by 60 pence.Delivery was as promised and packaging was sound.I think that the diagram indicating how to connect the cable could have been a bit more informative. A dummy such as I needs to be shown that the cable's "screening" must be turned back like a shirt collar before fastening on the F connector. It could also be improved by adding the units (millimetres) to the dimensions in the diagram. But these minor bafflements are quickly overcome by a bit of "common sense" ;-)

My Omnidirectional Fm Aerial was delivered well before the given date, well packed and in mint condition. Setup was no problem apart from the fact that i should have ordered an "F Connector for CT125" at the same time as the aerial. This was my fault as I had overlooked "additional items" on the Amazon page displaying the aerial so if and when you order this item, make sure you order a "F Connector for CT125" at the same time. This connector is needed to link your cable to the aerial. As stated setup was no problem and Im more than please with the result. Im in a bungalow with the aerial in the loft and pulling in stations i was unable to at my previous location using an high outside setup.The Omnidirectional Fm Aerial is brilliant and Ive no hesitation in recommending this seller to any of you guys seeking a genuine no hassle purchase.Ed
