Great little device. I use it to play mostly GBA and PS1 at the moment, which it handles no problem. Looks like it handles up to PSP, which I played some GTA VC stories. Came preloaded with thousands of games, most I didn’t care for so I copied them to my PC to free up space for more. Adding games is really easy to the included micro USB. Screen brightness is excellent, I play it in the house and can lower it to save my eyes, and when I play outside I can raise it to see in full sun. The controls can be alittle cramped when playing Joystick games, so I limit my time spent doing this, but GBA or D pad centric games play so well and comfortable. Battery life has been great, I can’t give a timeline but sometimes I play for 3-4 hours and it only drops 20-30% when playing GBA. Other systems I’m sure will drain it faster.

Bought this for my stepfather so he had something to do during his chemo treatments. It was easy to set up for him and has a huge variety of games on several different platforms. The quality of the monitor is super high and it functions like a new machine with even the older games. He has used it several times and only had to charge it once! The battery life is insane!

I’m very ROM and emulator savvy so I understand how it works it’s easy once you know what you’re doing but is kind of awkward to learn? If you don’t know anything about this kind of stuff I would still recommend if you like the regular games it comes with! And if you do know how these types of handhelds work 10/10 would recommend! It runs all my games amazingly my only personal issue is the gba fast forward isn’t very fast cause it’s got a different gba emulator than I’m use to but aside from that it’s amazing! I even got a second Ambernic handheld the RG505 so I can play 3ds and ps2 games on top of all the games this system runs I’m addicted!!! If I’m not working or recording music I’m GLUED to these things!!!!!! I see some people giving it bad reviews cause it had no games or didn’t have any games they wanted or liked. Well I can assure you it has games and if it doesn’t either they didn’t send you the second sd card, you lost the sd card unpacking it or you set it up wrong? Haha and you can add whatever games you want and even buy a bigger sd card to fit more games! On a side note my friend actually bought two of these awhile back and both he told me had no games or wouldn’t run anything and all I did was put the 2nd and card in and boom 4500 games just like that I even showed him how to put more games on it from his computer he really thought they were just broken and that he wasted $300 buying 2 of them and it’s funny to me cause he’s way more tech savvy than I am so I’m happy I could help him haha anyway this is my first review on literally anything ever in my entire life and it will probably be my only review on anything ever in my entire life cause that’s how much I love these things haha okay peace out

I Love the gameplay and the amount of options. Some of the games are a little too difficult to play. I wish there were Mario games included, or instructions how to download them. But I recommend this system. Compact, easy to navigate.

I was skeptical.. There are a lot of various negative reviews on the many different handheld consoles you can get. We ended up purchasing 3 of this specific one and I'm beyond pleased!! My words of advice would be: Read the directions!!! It seems like it comes with no games on it, but a little reading will immediately show you that you need to insert the second SD card, and BOOM, we had 4,428 games instantly available on the handheld. Fast, awesome picture, and plenty of games for everyone to enjoy! We got these for my 8y.o and 4 y.o nephew and 7 y.o daughter... But my husband and I also had a blast playing around with them last night when making sure they work before gifting them for Christmas!

Ok so the system is really really cool. I figured out you can download games directly off it and then transfer the rom to proper file and bam you have whatever game you want. Really love the system. Unfortunately the quality of build may not be up to par. I ordered one and immediately became obsessed and within 1 week the touch screen went out on the android side. I ordered a replacement and it came quick and was totally satisfied. Within another week of gaming 3-4 a day the speaker completely blew out and I never really even had it on full blast. Really was bummed on that but glad it happened within time frame to get replaced. So I’d recommend playing it a bunch when you get it and make sure you got a good one. If you get a good one then you will be happy it’s a great system

I have or have used RG280, RG351MP, RG552, RGNano, and now this RG353V. This might be might favorite of them all. It is slightly more hand cramped than the horizontal style, I never had a gameboy, but I think the screen being full and at the top makes it worth it. I have only use the included OS and I believe that they have really improved how they set these up because of Retro Russ among others. I don't know technical gibberish, but I do know when i see 'Core remap file loaded' that they did something to make the games look better, built-in this time. BIG SCREEN, just get an HDMI cord to connect to your big tv, and then even better, connect a game controller by bluetooth and this little system becomes an instant huge system you can sit across the room and play with a PS4 bluetooth controller. I have not successfully figured out how to always connect the game controllers, but when they work it's awesome, and you do have to remap them and set some hotkey buttons so that you can actually quit the game but once you figure that out it's great.
