This kit contains a 12x16 inch canvas which is clearly marked by numbers, three paint brushes, a magnifying glass and a set of lovely acrylic paint pots.The paint is non-toxic so is safe for both adults and children to use.The canvas does come folded so will need straightening out somewhat before the painting can commence. The paints included are nice and bold, creating an eye-catching landscape scene.The instructions are clear and concise and although a few of the more detailed areas can be a little tricky to see what number needs to be painted, the inclusion of the magnifying glass certainly helps with this.A lovely little set that will be appreciated by beginners and experienced artists alike.

I'm mistakenly thought this was a full picture, Not just a flat piece of fabric with an image printed on it. I got it from my oldest granddaughter to paint But I imagined she could prop it up against something to paint it.The image printed on it is really nice, It's a painting by numbers and you get all the paint supplied and paintbrush. You also get some fitting supplied for once the canvas is mounted to a frame.It's nice enough quality, not the best and the paints are not that good but we had others we could use so not a problem.I do think the item is misrepresented by showing it standing up, Although it does stay that it is a piece of linen in the small print I think the picture should show that it's a piece of fabric you're getting.Pictures are a powerful selling tool and should be accurate.

The paint brushes are sufficient for the job.The kit does not come with a frame to hold the canvas in place. This you will need to provide yourself or paint the canvas loose. I've had many 'paint by numbers', but this one is incredibly unique.To start, it's the most neatly folded, there is only one crease and that rubs out with a little pressure on a hard surface. The canvas itself is unlike any other I've had, it's almost like a nylon webbing. It's much more flexible and neater. The print is excellent, and the colours printed on it help add vibrancy to the shades.Also, because the fabric is smoother and just generally nicer overall, you don't see the warp and weft threads through or have paint miss the gaps between the threads in the canvas like other types do.I'm thoroughly impressed!

This is a brilliant concept, but the crease caused by packaging is unfortunate and difficult to get out.The painting set is great and offers bright colours, making for a vibrant landscape. The picture is beautiful when finished and my partner really enjoyed the activity.The paint brushes held up well and were of decent quality.We can't wait to get this framed so we can hang it on the wall in my partner's craft room!
