I ordered these Cinnamon sticks to try since the description said 2.5" sticks and the other brand we use that are 3" sticks get stuck in the bottom of our mugs. Turns out these Alive Herbals sticks are 3.5" long which is Fantastic! They are large enough to stay standing in our mugs and they don't get stuck down in the cup like the 3" ones. Plus our Tavern Warmer recipe calls for a 4" stick which is about impossible to find. So these 3.5" sticks will be our new standard. Will definitely be buying these regularly. They taste create in the hot drinks, just like they should.

So, so cute on a table at our wedding and is great value for price. None were broken and the taste was great! Everyone loved them.

I have been really wanting to enjoy cinnamon sticks in our Chai Tea rather than powdered form and found this on Amazon.Way better than what I had expected.Firstly the packaging was a very thick tear resistant resealable plastic bag.Secondly I thought that the flavor and aroma would last much longer if I stored it in wide mouth Mason Jars. I held the jar sideways as I stacked the sticks two layers high. 14 ounces fit in each jar and what did not fit into two jars I simply used up from the original storage bag.Lastly I rinse about six sticks, drop them into a pint Mason Jar add hot water and steep. I use the cinnamon water to make my Chai Tea, Iced Tea and simply just drink it in my water. As you can guess I LOVE cinnamon!After the first hot water steep I just add room temp water and store it for later use. Sometimes it releases its flavor for up to three days.Research what cinnamon does for blood sugar!

When I first received and tried this cinnamon, I gave it a one star review because it was tasteless. Nevertheless, I poured some in a tin next to the coffee pot, thinking I would leave it until I could buy more. After a few days, the flavors and scent opened up and gradually, the cinnamon sticks have become really good. Now a piece in my coffee mug flavors the coffee all day (on the first day I tried them there was no flavor). Not sure what changed, but I recommend that if you try them initially and are underwhelmed, put them in a glass or tin container and return to them in a few days. Much better!

Fresh, flavorful, just the right size. I use them to make cinnamon tea. Only fresh cinnamon sticks provide the right intensity of flavor. These are winners. A bit expensive but worth the price. The bag is large.

I was expecting them to have a stronger smell then they did. very light but that could be on me picking the wrong type of cinnamon stick.

I ordered this once, and it took a long time to finally get to a point 100 miles from my location and then disappeared during shipping. I gave it an extra week +, but it never arrived. Amazon promptly got me a full refund. I then reordered the product and it got to me in three days. YAY! I primarily just use this in my coffee, and the flavor is very good. When I start running low, I'll buy this again.
