Rose Pruning Gloves for Men and Women - Thorn Proof Goatskin Leather Gardening Gloves with Gauntlet (Extra Small)

I was slightly dubious about paying 20 quid for a pair of gloves, but finally I coughed up when couldn't take digging the thorns out of my fingers any more. I've tried lots of other supposedly thorn-proof gloves, as I have to spend too many days dealing with roses, blackberries, hawthorn & my personal bugbear, those big, purple topped, vicious thistles. They especially laugh at leather gloves, and you may as well not be wearing anything at all, as they usually just rip your hands to pieces regardless. However, these gloves were a revelation! They work! They work really, really well! They laughed at the thistles & they laughed at the blackberries. They arrived a couple of days after I ordered them, just in time for a whole day of thistle pulling (before they seeded). Hallelujah, it was a miracle. I spent the whole day thistle-pulling & not a single thorn got through. Then I had to clean out the brambles from a hedge on the way home. I wish I had bought a pair of these years ago, as they would have saved me so much grief over the years - all I can say is that they are worth every penny & I am so glad that I finally bought them. They really do live up to their word.Note: Make sure that you measure your hands before you buy them though (check the "How to measure your glove size" picture), as they are not designed to be baggy. Mine fit like they were custom made for me, & it really helps.

I am so pleased with these, I'm going to purchase another pair for my holiday home. I really didn't think they would protect me from all the horrible brambles I have in my hedging, but they do. And to watch my husbands face when I grabbed a huge handful of stinging nettles was great !I would totally recommend these to all gardeners.The only downside is the colour I chose - light grey - they do get very dirty quickly. I haven't bothered washing them as the green fingers doesn't affect their purpose.

Arrived within 24 hours, excellent product. I'd been struggling to find gloves small enough & these come in different sizes, the extra small is a perfect fit and the gauntlet comes right up to the elbows which is perfect.

These are absolutely brilliant. Received this morning and they've had a thorough workout. I have very small hands - the extra small is extremely comfortable and because the glove part is so soft there is no problem using clippers. The protection up to my elbow is very much appreciated and very effective. Recently had a very nasty rose thorn injury which has taken nearly 2 weeks to heal. Was confident with these gloves immediately. A pleasure to use and highly recommend.

Stylish and tough. Haven't managed to actually use them in the garden yet but they have doubled up as great DIY gloves!

Excellent. I chose size extra small. Very comfortable. Bought for rose pruning but I now wear them for most garden work to avoid bare arms being scratched.
