Reminiscent of a jellyfish, or perhaps a petticoat, this pendant light is made from an old aluminum colander, a steamer basket, and a few other things, finished off in sparkly blue. It lights a room softly while projecting stars across the ceiling - and walls, if you hang it in a corner. It would be perfect for a teen girl - or anyone who's a teen girl at heart. Cord is 15 feet long and has a switch about 20 inches from the plug. Comes with a 40 watt silver top bulb (which creates the shadows). If you want more light, these bulbs also come in 60 watt, which is the maximum I recommend using.
