There is a bit of oil on the outside of the wrappers. Assuming that happened in transit with temps being different. However, that being said, they are melt in your mouth deliciousness. Easy to chew and buttery. Giving the other container to my Dad as he loves caramels!

Very tasty, but instead of a "Duo Pack" as advertised, both containers in the set were the Sugar Cookie flavor ... when the set is advertised as the "Caramel Latte Duo" and did not include any of the Caramel Latte flavor! That had been the one I was most excited to try so that is unfortunate - the set I got had both containers in a visibly roughly opened cardboard box, but the inner containers with the caramels were well sealed so obviously weren't tampered with - guessing somewhere along the way someone swapped out one of my containers for a second Sugar Cookie? Bummer.But the sugar cookie flavor is great! thee caramels are really nice - very soft, individually wrapped in wax paper (yes - a little greasy but not a problem!) they are creamy and delicious - its hard to pick out another sugar flavor in caramel ... I mean, it is literally sugar and dairy as it is, so a specific sugar cookie taste I can't speak to and I don't have a second flavor to compare to in the set that I got, but it is really delicious! I saw another comment saying kraft caramels were bitter and nearly died laughing - these are excellent high wquality caramels - I would not be so bummed about not getting my latte flavor if they weren't ... if the sugar cookie ones are this good, the ones that are my literal two favorite flavors of coffee and caramel have got to be outstanding.

These are so amazingly good. Very soft and creamy. Softer even than a piece of taffy. So so much better than your store bought Kraft caramels. And even better than our usual go-to of Werther's caramels. The packaging presentation is also very high end. Has a nice sturdy container with a slide on lid. The caramels themselves are individually wrapped in waxy paper so they don't stick and you don't have to spend 5 minutes peeling paper bits off your treat! The classic caramel are exactly that, and the vanilla ones are the same but have a hint of vanilla to them. These would be a great gift to a caramel lover or a splurge treat for yourself.

I ordered the Iced Caramel Latte and Sugar Cookie caramel duo, and let me tell you - these caramels are sooo good! I managed to finish off both containers in only a week, and that was with great restraint. They were so good, I wanted to keep eating them...The caramels themselves are wrapped in wax paper twists, and you receive two tubes of caramels, one for each flavour. The cardboard tube feels solid and appropriate for gifting. The caramels are a bit greasy, but that is not exactly unusual for handmade caramels.Iced Caramel Latte has a definite true coffee and caramel flavour. Sugar Cookie has a more vanilla cookie taste. Both are fantastic, and I'm very happy with my choice!

Kraft caramels are much better. The only good thing about this product is the packaging. Save your money these do not taste good. If I could I would return them.

I was pretty interested in trying out these exotic flavored caramels. Passion fruit and mango with the rich taste of caramel sounded tasty. The actual taste is a bit more unexpected though. These come in nice little canisters, emblazoned with the Caramels.com website name. The box it comes in though has the logo of goatfoods.com, the distributor. Each little canister is full of caramels wrapped like taffy, with twist tie ends. The 1 inch long brown nuggets are individually wrapped in an oily paper, probably to prevent any sticking of the caramel. Unlike Werther's caramels, these are not hard and are far softer than even taffy. They have a fall apart in your mouth gooey soft texture, with an oily coating. Each flavor has an initial faintly fruity scent to them, though it is definitely not like actual fruit or candied fruit, but more like scented essential oils. The taste is like that also, not flavored like the fruit but more like an essential oil. The mango flavor is decent, with a slight tartness mixed with the rich caramelized taste as it quickly melts in your mouth. The passion fruit flavor is a little more different and not as to my taste. It has a more perfumy aroma that stays in your mouth. Not as tart of a flavor profile, but more "tropically" in an artificial manner. It's not bad per say, but it can be a bit too much with the rich caramel.Overall, these are interesting interpretations of caramels, being very soft and melty with scented tones. They are decent tasting, but are also very rich in flavor and so hard to eat more than one or two pieces at once.

These caramels have the texture and taste of delicious homemade caramel candies. I got the butter and sea salt varieties and both are excellent. They have a rich, buttery taste and are so soft they melt in your mouth. The containers were larger than I expected and both were packed completely full. These are definitely gourmet caramels, a little more pricey than the average grocery store caramels, but truly are a decadent pleasure. These would be perfect for gifting, just be sure to get some for yourself, too! 😊

These butter caramels are the best toffee type candies I have ever had. So soft, fresh and extremely tasty. I could eat these all day long and not get tired of them, they're absolutely amazing. They come in beautiful cylinder shaped boxes that are of the highest quality - VERY giftable. I'm keeping the boxes for refills, these boxes are just amazing. The price is high but it's so worth it, that's how tasty these are.
