48 hours wait that paid off solid dashcam hold!
Just followed VOLPORT's 48-hour rule for their dash cam sticky pads, and wow, what a grip! Cutting them to fit my Vantrue N4 was simple, and having extra pads right away feels like great value. The double-sided covers kept the stickiness perfect until install time. Pressed firmly for 30 seconds as instructed, waited the two days, and now my dash cam is seriously secure on the windshield. So far, rock solid! Only time will tell on the long haul, but first impressions are fantastic. A promising start for keeping your dash cam firmly in place!

Dash cam still stuck 2 months later.
READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. Yea I know tape with directions. But it is working for me.

useless
It didn't hold my small rear camera, let alone the bigger dash cam in front. It peeled off while driving, and I had the camera dangling in front of me, hitting the windshield, until I could safely exit the freeway. Dangerous and useless product. And the gray color looks horrible from outside, no idea why they can't come out with a strong quality adhesive that it is either clear or black, to blend into the car dash design, and not have an ugly gray spot on your windshield.

They don't last long..
my boyfriend has a dash cam that is compatible with these, and every time we buy some, they only stay stuck for maybe a week and then fall off. I don't know if it's because of the heat or what, but they do not have very good stickiness. they are sturdy during that week time though, and they function well during that time. fairly easy to put on the car as well, just not worth the money when it only lasts a short amount of time.
