I’m going silver naturally but I previously used to put henna on my dark hair. I loved the beautiful condition that powdered henna used to give so want something similar to condition my increasing silver hair which is prone to look dry. Long story short, there’s very little out there for people who want henna-type conditioning for silver hair without colouring it. Came across this - and decided on neutral because claims to do just that. And it does! Hair is soft, has a lighter feel and the silver glistens through my formerly natural black colour. Please note that this does NOT contain henna, it is a plant called cassia (look it up) that is found to have similar properties to henna and is sometimes referred to as ‘colourless’ - hence why it is more suited for my growing silver. I agree with another reviewer that this should be made clear in the description. I will definitely buy again. My only question now is how often can I use the neutral shade?

Did absolutely NOTHING!

I used to regularly use henna on my hair but have gone uncolored for a long time. I used to love the softness and repair effect that came with the colour so when I saw the colourless option here I thought it was worth a try.I first used the product according to the box directions and only left the cream on my hair for a short period- but the result was less noticeable than if I had just used a conditioner. I decided to disregard the timing given on the chart for colourless and the next time used it like a deep conditioning treatment/dye. After applying I wrapped it to stop it drying and left it on for 6 hours before rinsing with water as directed. Still no noticeable result at all. I think if I had just used conditioner it would have done more.I guess it was worth a try considering the price, and I can't speak for any of the other shades- but if youre looking for a conditioning effect, this doesn't provide it.
