Easy to use, wonderful price
Simply a wonderful product. The price was too good. I almost didn’t order because it did not seam possible. But it was! It was easy to use and performed as advertised.

Nice concept, but doesn't deliver.
We decided to give this a try since it was pretty cheap and relatively easy to use according to the product listing.First, the product that arrives does not match the product pictured. We understand that the product packaging may change and that isn't factored into the review. It's an observation. Even still, this 'kit' feels like something that was put together in someone's garage. The 'leveling tape' is a piece of plastic film wrap. The 'leveling stick' is legitimately a Popsicle stick. Now, our experience pumping the product differed from others. With the applicator tip installed, it's pretty easy to get it to come out as desired. Without the tip installed, way too much will come out.But the part that knocks this thing down to a one star... and it should be zero stars... the kit does NOT cure. OK. It's a cheap kit. We get it. The key chain light is something that looks like a trade show souvenir. OK. It's a cheap kit. But regardless of whether you're charging $20 or $200, it should work as you describe. The blue light does NOT cure the epoxy. It just leaves a sticky mess. We tested this out by doing it for the five minutes suggested by the packaging and even letting the blue light sit on the repair area for SEVEN HOURS. Only very minor curing... but that might be due to the product drying out for sitting so long. In any case, the repair never achieved a consistency more than rubber cement. Used a blue light from another source... no curing. Nothing.

Decent DIY quick-fix product
I saw a similar product at YouTube on fixing cracks and chips on granite countertops. I found this product at Amazon and decided to try it out. It worked well after following the instructions on the package. I can’t say the fix is perfect or invisible, but it did the job.The trick is to place the blue UV light as close as possible without touching the surface. But the blue light device doesn’t work well as you’ll need to hold it for as long as it needs while press on the button. I used the small UV light device that I use to cure my gel nail instead, tape it onto a metal water bottle and placed it over the area, so I did not have to hold it myself. Overall, this kit does what it’s supposed to. Yes, the costs of the materials in the kit are probably not worth the price, but the transparent gel is a special product, and it is hard to find a substitute.See the photo I attached showing the ‘before’ and ‘after’ of fixing the corner chip at my kitchen countertop. It’s pretty much the best a DIY person can do!

Worked well to repair chips!
I dropped a cup on the sink edge of my counter while washing dishes … the cup was fine but it knocked a chunk out of our quartzite countertop! Installation company quoted $400-$500 to do the repair plus clean and reseal the counters - considering they didn’t do a great job sealing in the first place, we decided to DIY.Tips:- The little light does have a switch on it to lock it in the “on” position so you do not have to stand there squeezing it to keep it on.- You are definitely not going to want to hold that light for five minute increments. I taped it to the inside of a roll of masking tape so I could position it over the area and leave it there to cure.- I focused the light in one area for 5 minutes and moved it around as needed in 5 minute intervals to make sure the entire area was well cured.- try not to get the filler on the masking tape you surround the repair with, if you do it wants to pull up on the edges with the tape when it is removed.Other than that, great product and economical solution to repair smaller chips!

It does work ok… but.
This stuff does work, but it takes a long time to get even a small chip done. When you fill a chip, you have to do it over and over as it won’t cure if it’s too thick. The tiny light that comes with it is not so great either. It flickers and you have to stand there and hold it over the resin for 5 minutes. Doesn’t seem long, but when you have to do each chip four times, you get tired of holding it. Also the tiny strip of plastic they send to put over the resin is not wide enough. I would not order this again, I’d go with epoxy.

NOT BAD!
This is an updated review. !!!!YOU HAVE TO GET AN ACTUAL UV FLASHLIGHT OR IT WILL NOT CURE!!! The light included in the kit will NOT do the job. Otherwise, the resin itself works miracles. I used masking tape to shape “moulds” on chips that were on edges. I put another piece of tape (sticky side on sticky side) where the chips themselves are so that the resin doesn’t glue itself to the glue on the tape. I struggled with the light included in the kit as it would NOT cure anything. For 4 days the substance would stay liquid, until I bought an $8 UV flashlight and put it to use. Takes about 5-20 minutes to cure with it, depending on the size of the chip. I did not take “before” pictures but on my photos you can kind of see where the chips were. I struggled taking the “after” photos because I could barely see the spots I fixed - that’s how good this thing is. It’s not gonna be perfect but it will protect it from chipping further and will save you thousands on useless repairs or replacements. Their customer service is also very responsive so I recommend you reach out to them before freaking out and returning the product.

A waste
This was a total waste of money!! Did not work although I followed the instructions to the letter! The glue was not adequate. I would have been better off to go buy a good epoxy, follow the youtube instructions and make the repair! This glue pulled right back out of the chip!! Don't waste your money on this product!!

Fixed it
The product was easy to use with good simple instructions. The blue light worked well. I did clean the area first with an a household ammonia cleaner. So pleased that our quartz kitchen top looks good once again.
