Works great, just wish it had a little more adjustment
I put this on my 2006 Cadillac escalade EXT to do data logging on Hptuners, and found i didnt even have to bolt it up. It was like the fork attachment was made for these GM trucks as it just happened to fit perfectly inside the seat track as pictured. Like it was intentionally done that way. It was like an absolutely perfect machined fit. Once you slide it in, it has litterally zero movement. Amazing. The only thing I wish it would do is have that top shorter arm more adjustable. If it could somehow swivel the opposite way, it would be better in my case, but I was able to make it work. Its a little bouncy, id wish there was some sort of support arm you could put in your cup holder or something. Overall, I like it, and would definitely recommend it

Good for Ham Radio Operators with limited dash space!!!!
I purchased the MS-526 because I have several Amateur Radio rigs that I just couldn't foresee fitting very well in my '02 4Runner. Didn't want to do any "fabrication" to the dash area so the Mobotron mount seemed like the only way to go.I have a President HR2600 and a Yaesu FT-2900R stacked on top of each other. The mount is loaded down to a little over maximum capacity but it handles most bumps just fine. Adhere to the weight limit, or else you risk having the mount topple over and dump your expensive electronics on the floor! Utilize the various clamp downs on top of the tray table to secure your devices! The support arms for the tray table are very solid. Each joint has teeth that lock into each other, and levers to clamp it all together tightly. I have full faith that the mount will be able to handle anything thrown at it.You won't be able to make big adjustments to it on the fly. You'll have to pull over for that. The tray table is the only part that you can safely move around fast. (I don't condone taking your focus off vehicle operation.)The tray table material feels a little more cheaply made than the rest of the mount. The plastic seems thick enough though, and will do it's job to hold up your devices. The table has a lot of securing options with the adjustable little swing arms. As you can see in the pictures, I was able to safely attach two ham radios on the top deck with a little bit of ingenuity! The adjustable arms have thumb screws to tighten each arm down. Make sure they're screwed in tight, or else they'll vibrate off. Lastly, the table is mounted to the support arms by a thick metal post that inserts into the bottom of the table, and is tightened to the post by a metal adjustment rod. You can loosen the the adjustment rod to rotate the whole table 180 degrees, however the table sits on top of the post so tight that I find it difficult to turn. With the rod loosened, you can also tilt the table to the side left or right.Overall, very happy with this purchase. If you want the option of having the telescoping support, I'd go with this one. If not, buy the cheaper one!

I like it!
The media could not be loaded. So far, so good. The stand is exactly what I needed and expected based off of the reviews. When traveling, it does have a little wobble to it. But if assembled properly, you shouldn't have to worry about your device falling or the stand collapsing. If you need to take it out for whatever reason, disassembly should be fairly easy. Watch the video to see how I have it anchored in my vehicle.**Update 04/22/24**Still holding strong. My only issue is that the screws come loose often. I'm missing a few screw knobs that hold the base intact. Wish it came with spares. It's best to add a washer for each screw knob. That should keep it in place. But overall, it's definitely serving it's purpose.

Awesome mount for mobile computers!
This device is awesome! I put this on the passenger side of my Subaru Outback to use with my Acer Aspire One (Z5G). With a load of other items in the car as well, I can put the laptop where I need it and lock it down. If I need to move the computer, it is as easy as moving a couple of clamps and your done. The only thing I don't like about it is the options you have if you need to remove the computer. First option is to rove the pivot assembly for the platform which makes the laptop bulky. Second is to remove the four screws under the platform which is used to house the USB fan. If you loose any of those screws it is going to be difficult to replace them. I am planning on building a locking slide plate assembly which will make my particular mounting extremely user friendly.CAUTION: This system is very easy to remove quickly from your vehicle. If you plan to make it a permanent installation consider changing out a bunch of knob screws with security screws as well as changing out the clamp assemblies to nuts and bolts to make it harder to disassemble.NOTE: if you have a vibration issue I recommend getting the extension support.

Terrible Product
I have a 2014 Kia Soul. This product was already very difficult to install as the instructions are relatively confusing. Furthermore, the mount would shake almost vigorously anytime the car moves - so imagine how it is when I am on the road driving. The funniest part about this product is how the screws fall out themselves. I have never seen that before. As I am driving, I would hear clanging and physically witness the screws that hold the laptop mounting plate literally falling out. This is constant maintenance for a crappy product. Do not recommend to anyone for any use case at all, unless you want to play Jenga with a $150 product.
