As a Licensed Esthetician, I use sponges during every facial. These sponges are compact and expand when exposed to water. I like the round part and the pointed part, because both allow you to get to every part of the face. These will now be the sponges I use in my spa.

Love how it's packed, compact, and reusable.

These facial sponges are great for exfoliation, but because they are a little rough, I wouldn't recommend them for makeup application or makeup removal. The quickly expand when water is added and I love the portability of these sponges.

Purchased for cosmetic use and also to keep in my travel watercolor kit and they are perfect!

Prices fluctuate regularly and I always recommend shopping around and comparing what’s available to get your best deal on the date you decide to buy.These 120 facial sponges come in a package containing 12 individual packages of 10 compressed sponges. This is convenient because each 10 pack is small enough to slip into a purse or a pocket or keep handy in the glove compartment of a car or a first aid kit as well as travel. I do not use them exclusively for skin care. Because of their compact size when compressed I find them easy to keep on hand in the shop or my truck or my car or my backpack. When you add a little water or any other liquid whether it be a facial cleansing solution, soap, water, etc. the sponge expands to its useful size. The 12- count packaging is actually about the size of an old vinyl LP but as I wrote above it contains individual packages of 10 compressed sponges.The sponges are reusable. I rarely use them just once. There are probably dozens of uses for them that I haven't even thought of yet but I will continue to use them.5 stars.I rate products according to the following scale:1 Star: Do not buy. I never knew that I needed something like this in my life until now. I wish I’d found these years ago! Now that I’ve found these, I will be a lifetime user. I’ll probably be stocking up on quite a few more packs of these soon.I tend to always struggle with dirtying up washcloths when it’s time to take off my makeup. Even when I do use makeup remover wipes, there’s generally always something left behind like eyeliner or mascara. Then I get black all over my cloth, which is extra frustrating since they’re light colors. I feel like I’m using them for one or two nights and then already tossing them into the laundry. These sponges from Unimade are the perfect replacements.First off… they’re just kind of fun! When they’re right out of the package, they look almost like a dorito chip. They’re dry, brittle, and feel a bit frail. I thought maybe I’d ordered the wrong thing and didn’t see how this could be helpful. Then, I stuck it under the water and was so surprised by how quick and nicely it fluffed right up. I felt silly, but I hopped out to find the two others in the house and make them try it too. So simple, yet so entertaining I guess.Aside from that, these work just perfectly. The shape of the sponge is great for everything. The wide end is great for wiping down my forehead, cheeks, and chin. Then, the small tip fits just right to get around my eyes and nose. The sponge is soft but feels like it helps with a small bit of exfoliation as well. I can dry them out and use them another time or so before I toss them out and grab a new ‘chip’. I’m sure you could probably reuse them for longer, but I just worry too much about the spread of bacteria.These are perfect for home, but also for travel. They’re so easy to toss into my suitcase to take with me on a camping trip or any other kind of vacation. It helps spare the life of a hotel washcloth, at least. They’re tiny enough that they take up no space at all. And it’s not like I’ll run out of them anytime soon. One pack came with 100! For less than $8? That seems like such a steal. This paid off its worth in laundry detergent or makeup wipes alone. I can’t say enough good things about these little sponges, I love them so much now.

I had no idea these things existed, but now that I've found them, it just might be life-changing. I have ADHD, so I'm really bad about washing my face regularly to begin with. Add to that the mess that runs down your arm when you use your hands, or having to keep up on regularly washing washcloths, it kind of became a lost cause. But these sponges are great because I can use one a few times then throw it away before it gets a chance to grow any bacteria. And they do a better job of cleaning and gently exfoliating my skin than just my bare hands. They do feel a bit rough, though, but my skin, which reacts very badly to scrubs, has been fine.
