It’s cute and sturdy.

I spend a lot of time in front of a computer in my bed due to bad knees that need replaced. This lap desk rarely sits on my lap. It could use just a little more padding around the underside of the corners. I have fibronyalgia, so I have sensitive trigger points in my upper legs that are painful if too much pressure sits on those spots. It doesn't take much weight at all for that to happen. For people without that problem this lap desk is perfect. It holds a lot. The hole in the lid is very useful for keeping a pen or marker handy. I will use this till I'm dead. I really love it.

This lap desk has a lot going for it. It's a great size for a 14-15" laptop. It has a built-in storage bin. It's attractive. And it doesn't cost a ton.However, I found that the stiff sides made the product less comfortable that any lap desk I'd ever owned. In fact, there was only a thin bit of foam on the very bottom of the lap desk (against your thighs), but nowhere else. The sides felt like either plastic or hard fiberboard covered in cloth, and I just couldn't position the lap desk properly to get a comfortable spot.

Excellent desk for a road trip. Kept art supplies and a few snacks inside. Sturdy yet pleasing to the eye. Very happy with it!
