RAINPOINT 2 Zone Sprinkler Timer - 2pcs Water Timer for Garden Hose with Rain Delay/Manual Watering/Automatic Irrigation for Yard Lawn

I purchased the 2-zone timer a year ango and it has worked flawlessly. I followed the instructions on installation - used a bit of the Teflon tape and made sure it’s vertical, so It has never leaked. Easy to program, too. The batteries were strong all year (I’ve removed them for winter storage). I’ll probably purchase another for the other side of the house - great value! I really like the zones. I have a “desert” part of the flower garden that I only wanted watered every few days, while the rest needed watered daily. Worked perfectly!

Purchased two of these for both front and backyards, as we have several landscaped plants in the front and a veggie and flower garden in the back. Two attachments are connected to a drip system, one is attached to a single sprinkler head, and the other to a hose for manual use. We have them running daily each morning for approx 15-45 mins on three timers and the manual is not. Timers all run accurately, the nozzles adjust easily, installation was simple enough, and have had zero leaks at both the nozzle head as well as the hose connectors and switches which manage the connection between the timer port and the hoses/drip systems. Switching the system from the timer setting to manual mode is a little tricky, but otherwise this was an absolute fantastic buy. We’ve been using for about a month now and absolutely love it, as does our garden!

Do they work, yes! However, in my experience they dont last long. I purchased my first pair about a year, year a a half ago. Both displays faded due to sun exposure, one of them eventually allowed water to leak into the display complete rendering it in operable, the other one even with fresh batteries can’t keep the time of day straight, so it waters whenever it wants to.

I’ve been using the Rainpoint 2 Zone Timer for about a year now, and overall it’s been a great addition to my watering setup. Within the first month, I did run into an issue where the plastic threads started leaking. I reached out to Rainpoint, and they responded quickly—sending me a replacement unit with brass threads instead, which was a solid upgrade and fixed the problem right away. Now, after a full year of use, one of the zones has started leaking again. I contacted Rainpoint, and once again their customer service has been excellent—they’re already sending out a replacement without any hassle. Overall, the timer itself works well and is easy to use, but what really stands out is Rainpoint’s reliable and responsive customer support. That kind of service makes a big difference and keeps me confident in the product.

Six weeks ago I purchased 7 timers for my yard and my mother-in-law’s. I installed them after overseeding, and it has been a game changer! In prior years I would spend over an hour every morning and then again in the evening moving sprinklers around to keep the moisture level conducive to grass-growth. With these timers I’m saving so much time! They are easy to set up and easy to program. They aren’t perfect, though. For one, when you switch to manual mode (for example when washing the car or watering plants) and then back to auto-on, the sprinkler doesn’t resume its schedule but resets. (The schedule is still intact.) So, say you have the schedule set for every two days and the next watering is supposed to happen in two days, but then you switch to manual mode for a few minutes to do other watering. When you turn the timer back “on” it will re-engage the schedule the next day instead of in two days. So you then have to turn it off and remember to come back the next day and turn it back on in order to get back on the preferred schedule. Also, if you have a multi-hose timer and have everything programmed, but then you decide you don’t need to use one of the hose ports it appears the only way to stop using that hose ports is to reset the entire schedule for the timer. Neither one of these are major issues. The convenience, easy and intuitive programming and usage still warrant five stars imo.

One stopped working as soon as it rained!

We've purchased several of these and use them for our garden watering to save time. We've never had one break down and two of them have been in use since last season. They've endured high heat, crazy winds, hail storms, and daily use just fine (we live in Wyoming). This year we had one that was defective right out of the box, but the company was quick to offer a free replacement, which was much appreciated. Definitely a reliable product that I plan on continuing to buy as we expand our garden!

Very disappointed. I bought these less than 2 months ago and one of them has quit working properly. The knob for setting the action desired is so loose it doesn't stay in place to activate the watering.
