Only Measures Immediate Windspeed
You should be aware that this is a very SIMPLE (toy) device. It doesn't record anything. And the "mode" and "set" buttons don't do anything but turn on the device (mode = ON) and turn off the device (set = OFF). So if you need an anemometer that does anything more than give you the immediate windspeed while you're looking directly at it, THIS ISN'T THE DEVICE FOR YOU. But we like it because it's cheap and we just want to measure wind gusts on our balcony.

Must have if your babysitting ac system like me
Works very well, this device I have had for well over a year now and I use it almost daily to measure ac stuff. It’s still on the same battery and stays accurate. Easy to use and understand. Highly recommend

Did not work at all.
I got this to measure the wind speed coming out of my central AC vents. It did not work at all, totally useless. The fan did not even spin a bit. If I blow on it it works, but the speed at which it activates makes it 100% useless for working with AC vent's. 100% useless.

Just fun.
I really didn't need this but wanted it, and it's fun. where I live it can be mildly windy and a few miles away the wind can be fierce, so thought it would be fun to take this along on my walks. It is fun. Glad I bought it. Has no other purpose for me other than fun. The screen is very bright, easy to use, the fan captures the air flow easily, good quality. I'm sure the battery life is excellent as it is a standard one of those round flat batteries that always seem to last forever.
