FORCE OF NATURE: THE DRY 2 [DVD]

Beautiful settings
I read The Dry 1 , and the book is fabulous. So I wanted to watch this movie based on the book from the same author. First, I love Eric Bana. I also like movies/books where the settings contribute to the story. This movie did not disappoint. I got to experience a very different Australia, so much so that I will visit this area of the country. The story is well developed, moody, sad, suspensible. Well worth the money

Surprisingly good
We had not seen the first Force of Nature so had no expectations. While the back and forth in time (when the detective lost his mother) was confusing at first as was the references to a serial killer, the plot was good. Top shelf acting, good pace, definitely not a movie you want to keep running while you refresh your drink. My wife was doing email and would look up and be completely lost to what was happening so we had to back track a bit. What I would have liked to see is and perhaps I just missed it "did his mother actually die once they got her to the hospital? Finish the story line on the serial killer?. Now, all that said, if that is all addressed in the first Force of Nature, our bad.

Excellent movie
I enjoyed both of the movies in this genre. Each was its own story line but very well done.

It's okay, just ok
This movie is watchable once it is not the movie that you would want to watch a second or third time it is not the kind of movie with memorable performances or plot twists after watching it I asked myself why did you rent this?

Great Mystery
Lots of stuff going on in this one, great ending, not predictable.

Really Good movie, Excellent Cast and the artists behind the camera are amazing too.
This was an excellent movie. The acting is so very good we got involved in the characters lives without realizing it. The sets, locations, and the things that built the subconscious foundations of the show are really, really well done. Thank you all for this.

Good movie
Just as good as the first The Dry! And of course, Eric Bana!!

This movie is all wet
Loved the first movie. Just a gritty complex murder mystery with interesting characters. This movie is the opposite in all ways. The complete incongruousness of the location - a movie called “the dry” set in a rainforest location - is a great metaphor (hence my bad joke above) for the poor characterizations and plot of this movie. If you loved the first one, don’t disrespect its memory by watching it.
