Best decision to go with this dive computer. It was a birthday gift I got to choose. I made the right choice. Happy that Amazon had this available. I've dealt with Suunto directly for accessories since purchase and their customer service has been great. Timeline to get things, fast. Don't let cost scare you. It is 100% worth it.

I really wanted to love this watch. I have a Suunto Spyder and Suunto Stinger that I've had a lonnng time but thought it was about time to upgrade my dive watch. However trying to use the interface turned out to be tedious. It would be better if the face could be customized with action buttons similar to an iwatch. I looked for scuba type faces on the suunto website but could only find more outdoor trail/run/swim type faces, which we can't customize. The heart rate monitor didn't work for me, the interface in general is not useable in my opinion.

It is worth every cent. It's easy to set up, I can track everything down to my sleep. I get a 3D layout of my dive sites.

A better dive computer than Descent , screen more visible and the algorithm gives slightly more no deco time. As a smart watch the Descent has better software. You can have the battery changed whereas with Descent you cannot and this swung the issue favor of the Suunto for me.
