Alternative to Logitech
This is exactly what I needed! My Samsung TV has HDMI control of my receiver for TV audio, so I didn't really think about the receiver being hidden in an adjacent cabinet. However, I have been unpacking my old audio equipment and added a gaming console - all connected to the receiver. For any audio that wasn't run through the TV, I would have to keep the cabinet open to allow the remote to control volume or would have to open the cabinet to change input settings. Since I really only need 2 remotes (TV and receiver), I didn't see the need to spend a couple hundred dollars (or more) for a complicated universal remote with repeaters. This product is the perfect functional alternative! I still use the factory remote for my receiver (which I prefer since it has myriad settings), but can keep the cabinets closed for aesthetics. The setup was incredibly easy. No need for logging into a website and programming the universal remote which will periodically glitch out (at least in my experience). And its compact size fits perfectly in the cabinet alongside of the receiver. The wiring is intuitive: plug the long receiver unit cable into the input; plug the repeater module into the output; plug the unit into an outlet; attach the repeater module anywhere near the front of the unit you want controlled. The repeater's output is so strong it doesn't need to be directly attached to the IR receiver on the device (like some cheaper iterations). This is so good, I will probably get one for my AV room when it is complete. I *HIGHLY* recommend this product!

A practical solution for keeping entertainment equipment organized
The receiver picks up remote signals reliably, and the multiple emitters make it convenient to control several devices hidden inside a cabinet.

Junk
What’s great for three weeks, then suddenly stopped working. Ordered a replacement device (thankfully within the window) and the USB port immediately broke upon plugging in. Tried to continue troubleshooting the on original device with some of the pieces from the original and that one also had that port break. (I wasn’t pushing hard on the ports, just lightly plugging it in. They were not solid)

Great remote repeater
Great remote repeater I have purchased two of these and both improved the overall operation of our remotes

Know what your equipment expects to see.
I am trying to set up a Sofabaton U2 remote with a Roku box, an Xfinity box, a Yamaha AV receiver, and over-the-air antenna TV. Hope to use this repeater to get the IR signals to each device. It should work, but communication with the Xfinity box has been a problem.
