Solid alternative to sugar free gum
After learning recently sugar alcohols uses in sugar free gum increase the chances of blood clotting I decided to look for alternatives and game across this.Formerly I was a pack of gum per day chewer. 1-2 pieces of Mastiha can last me all day.The gum has a slight taste of pine, which being an Oregon boy I don't mind. It is a little firmer than traditional gum which I like.Note, you do have to warm it up in your mouth for about 30 seconds before you can chew it, otherwise is shatters into tiny pieces.Overall I highly recommend this if your looking for an alternative to sugar free gum and love the sensation of chewing.

Hard to chew and very sticky
I chewed on some off this for a bout 20 seconds before taking it out of my mouth for fear it was going to pull off one of my dental crowns. This stuff is tough to chew and is very sticky. Not being able to return it, even as Prime Member, is kind of insulting, so I'm completely dissatisfied, and out $14.99

Perfect for my psychological problems
I used to be a gnawer who specialized in destroying durable rigid plastics like those found in ballpoint pens... the grey bics were always my favorite. Chewable stim toys did NOT provide the correct amount of resistance and I easily ripped them to bits. I recently kicked the habit because of the micro plastics and such (sort of getting self conscious about the thought of future scientists poking my petrochemical-laced tissues and wondering what the heck happened) as well as the way it was starting to wear my molars down into nubs. Well, the atrophy of my rodent-like jaw muscles caused pain and spasms in my jaw, so my Tai Chi master suggested I try this Greek tree sap as an all-natural alternative. Turns out it's the perfect bite, and the taste reminds me of Malort, which is a huge plus. The only downside is that once chewed it looks a lot like normal gum so you'll look unhinged to anyone who sees you reusing the pieces-- luckily my life is already an unbroken litany of humiliation so no harm done. Would recommend to anyone else who struggles with a puppy-like compulsion to bite, crush, and tear.

Give Your Jaw A Workout
Never having tried this gum before, I didn’t know what to expect. I was surprised to find the small pieces very hard at first. My suggestion is initially just slowly gnaw on the gum which will soften it up. If you try to bite down on it right away, you will end up breaking it up into lots of tiny pieces. As you chew on it, it becomes softer but then becomes really firm and takes some effort to chew. I suppose that if you do chew it enough, it might firm up your jawline a little bit. The flavor leaves something to be desired though but you’re not really chewing this for the flavor. Also, as I’ve had a lot of dental work over the years, I’m a little reluctant to chew any gum, especially one this firm. However, if you’re looking for a way to work out your jaw muscles, this product might be for you.

Best Mastic Gum i've found
My pouch felt soft, so I put it in the freezer for a few hours and then smacked it several times on the counter to break it up. Perfect sized pieces! It's also perfect consistency when chewing, doesn't dissolve or stick to my teeth. Not sure about the unhappy reviews, but they must have missed the warm weather fridge tip to chill this stuff. Mild flavor also. Will purchase again.
