I’ll always have a bottle of this product on hand. I use Tretinoin and my skin is very dry and sensitive but with the help of this product I can actually wear makeup without my skin peeling off. I like to put a layer over my regular moisturizer under spf. At night I use a thick layer and it really helps my skin stay hydrated overnight. Honestly my moisturizers are useless without this product because they tend to dry up throughout the day/night. It’s a thick balm but sinks into the skin and leaves your face feeling smooth and supple with NO irritation. I would buy this full price but I always stock up when it’s on sale :)

I'm actually happily surprised with the color of the product as it's a purple gray in color. A little goes a long way with this product and a small amount can cover the entire face. It's thick and buttery feeling as you put it on your skin and does offer hydration. There is no discernable scent that I can pick up with my nose. I do like to use this under makeup because it feels quite smooth on my skin. When under make up I do use this as the last skincare product before makeup, so nothing on top of this. Not bad but it has a ton of ingredients; personally I prefer a simpler ingredient list.

There are a ton of botanical extracts in this cream that also help heal the skin. I found this to be wonderful for my super dry and sensitive skin. I really wish this came in a larger size since I can see myself going through this quickly during the winter. It took about a pea-sized amount to cover my face and it worked well with my other skincare and underneath my foundation. This SKIN&LAB Barrierderm Relief Balm is a pale purple color and it has a ointment-like texture. It spreads easily, absorbs well, and doesn't leave a sticky residue. The color comes naturally from the guaiazulene in the ingredients (rather than from added colorant or dyes).It's fragrance free, which is great for those with sensitive skin. The ingredients contain beta-glucan, guaiazulene, and centella asiatica extract for soothing, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid for moisture retention, and ceramide to strengthen the skin barrier.It's made in South Korea. The tube comes sealed with foil under the cap. This BarrierDerm relief balm is somewhat thick and absorbs well. It has a very light floral fragrance that smells great. It easily softened my regular dry spots(on skin) from the weather immediately after use. The tougher dry spots around my ankles are still dry but I noticed that they are slowly improving. I really love the feel of this balm because it’s not sticky or oily. It absorbs really well and makes your skin feel more comfortable. I love it so far!
