Good Quality Instrument
It has been about 1 week since the purchase of this Panasonic phone. So, far, it has been a good experience. The sound is loud enough. It has good quality buttons. When the phone was connected to the phone line, there was blinking on the caller id display, and that went away when I set the date and time according to the instructions booklet which comes along with the phone. So it is all good now. The cons: the display is small, so the digits are small. You have to come very close to the top of the screen to see the caller's id. Also, it would be better if they could provide the provision of installing battery so that the screen would backlit for incoming call. Now, you have to first put the room's lights on in order to see the caller's number. It is quite easy to set or reset the date and time though. Overall, a good quality phone. My earlier Binatone phone (also brought through amazon), which was much cheaper than this one, started making bleep sounds within 40 days of switching to Airtel Broadband/landline connection from MTNL connection. It was working well on MTNL connection. That is why I just replaced that with a reputed company's phone. Hope this Panasonic phone still keeps working fine as it has been so far. And I hope that this review helps.

A Genuine Malaysian Made Panasonic Product! No worries Landline Phone!
I bought this from Amazon.in because I got a better deal than Flipkart....I must say Amazon has delivered it very well before scheduled delivery time in absolutely great condition and top quality packaging. Thank you Amazon! Apart fron that, the phone is 100% genuine malaysian made Panasonic product. No problems setting up....functions include date, time, lcd contrast, caller id, speaker phone of very lound and clear quality, soft touch still sturdy buttons and tone - pulse dialing. No batteries needed, just plug it intobur wall phone line and its ready to use. Loud and clear phone conversations and receiver handset is also very superb build quality. If u want a phone with spearker and caller id facility without using batteries....just go for it. It even works in poer failures, just on the phone line....and yes I have got a parallel connection and it works fine there too. Complete value for your money landline phone.

Nice but y alphabets??
It is a nice landline in and good looking in black. But I don't know why they have alphabets in the keypad. Because u can't set a speed dial and caller id. That's they only draw back also I got it only today, if don't know how long it work. Also I gonna say one thing which helps u alot don't buy the cordless phone never and ever it last only for 2 year. If u go for high range buget then get many suggestions. That's all. Thank u

Best landline instrument
Panasonic landline phones are always the best . This model is also great .. Good sound quality, speakerphone, soft-feel buttons and a solid build are all good features for this price .. Only complaint is that the font in caller ID display is too small. A little bigger font would have given it a 5 star ..

... who is a senior citizen and one who finds comfortable using landline phones to make calls
I bought this phone for my mother who is a senior citizen and one who finds comfortable using landline phones to make calls. So it meets my needs: high ringing volume, caller ID support, missed call indication and call log memory. With no battery required, it was an added plus Initially I did go through lots of models and reviews. I was sure not to go for cordless phones after coming to know about the harm due to the radiation it emits. Then I was very much impressed about the design of Gigaset, but after checking with their support team I came to know it's not recommended for home usage because of low ringing volume (in fact they are intended for office environment). Similarly with higher models of Panasonic. Therefore I finalized this model. But I was skeptical regarding the design of the phone (based on the photo displayed here and also in Panasonic website) because I am one person who factors this criteria very much. Surprisingly it didn't disappoint me and indeed it looks good and sleek (than what you see here). As a suggestion to Panasonic (in this model)... there can be an address book facility for at least 20 contacts. By this way, we need not dial the numbers every time or pick from the dialed list. I think technologically it would be possible to have such a storage option (like a SIM card in mobile phones) that doesn't need batteries to make it work. That said, the problem with the seller is, they haven't written my name and address in the warranty card. When I checked with the local service center, they told me they won't consider warranties of online purchases. So if at all any problem arises, they asked me to come through Panasonic for which I have to contact Amazon.
