Good solid game with excellent graphics!
I thought this game was really good & was surprised at its low price for how new it was. It plays well but is really rather slow at the beginning. Just trying to keep quiet & sneaking around actually looking at your feet to make sure didn't step on anything that made a noise! (Leaves, water, paper & tin cans) I thought it was hours before I actually saw a monster for a few mins so rather tedious more so than horrific. I've given it 4 stars as the graphics are really good & I'm guessing it will get better the more time I spend on it. But worth buying as this price.

For Fans Of The film & Survival Horror genre
A quiet place the road ahead is quite similar to the films, you play Alex, as woman trying to escape from the monsters, in a stealth survival game, as you try to escape the island. Things that only made more complicated but the fact that Alex is also pregnant & has asthma which leads into one of the games mechanics. If you become too stressed and begins to panic this will trigger an asthma attack, which can be negated by the use of inhalers or a QTE which you can control your breathing and prevent an attack. All of which can be fatal which leads to isom and resource management. As the smallest noise can trigger an attack from one of the monsters. A times of this did feel to be a little bit inconsistent, sometimes you could quite speedly sneak past monster after several attempts other time's merely opening a cupboard door will launch an attack resulting in game over. (The last level in particular I encountered this issue) Overall with some trial and error I did feel This could killed the tension & just lead to frustration. Particularly as some areas will require you to practically walk around in the dark, whilst managing your torch or flares later in the game. Which have their pros and cons, do you risk making a noise for greater visibility to charge your torch or the low crackle of a flare to light your way. Other times you can distract the monster by throwing but also bricks or to break windows and either sneak past or lead the monster away from your place of hiding. Again sometimes this was a real risk reward system, in the end it was just easier at times to sneak past and learn the layouts out the levels. Along the way the also are several collectibles which also give further backstory which do make for some engaging law about the survivors. What about the owner of a local business who builts there establishment from scratch & it's many patrons, all workers with their day-to-day frustrations with mechanical failure which also leads into one of the other games mechanics. Late game had a real focus on changing valves for pressure to other lower water automake entryways possible exchanging fuses to be able to enter doorways in order to progress. Other times you'd also have to negate traps & avoid bumping into objects or kicking cans walking on glass. All of which kind of felt like hallmarks from the films. The monsters themselves are fantastically animated & being otherworldly, despite being blind they are always alerts your presence especially if you're unfortunate enough to make too much noise you'll no doubts here the constant clicking noises & screches. After a while load this can become a bit irritating, despite the game shortline I probably would recommend it more and short-bursts. There are some moments some of which are scripted & telegraphed for jump scares & some some frantic chaotic sections. To go into further details would be spoiler territory and I'd recommend not watching too many of the trailers some of those moments are shown. Conclusion Overall for the length and price points I would recommend this despite my initial frustrations, fans of the film will no doubt enjoy this & if you played similar games like alien isolation or still wakes the deep, you'll no doubt find enjoyment & scares here.

Fun game to play with the kids. There is a bit of cussing which isn’t ideal but you can skip past the dialogue if needed. The game is easy enough control wise but is a bit difficult for younger kids. The quiet aspect helps them to be able to play the game without any of the added antics that you may get from other games.
