Is there any warranty with this?

I don't know what kind of warranty. It is a cheap product and a universally used mechanical device. It is robust and functional. I have used it for two years now...no problem

Can it be used for 18 fret guitar?

Yes you can , it’s helps you to wind your strings fast cut the extra remaining strings to keep guitar look tidy and also you can pull the pins out the from bridge So it gives three in one work , try it it’s good
