Great Sound, Easy to Set Up, Easy to Use
Great record player. It was easy to set up right out of the box. We've had it in two different locations, and its always been nice and stable, maintaining a steady sound with no skips or warbles. The sound is clear and the full range you would expect to come out of a quality record player, whether I'm playing modern vinyl or feeling nostalgic and stepping into records from the 1960s or going even further back with recordings from the 1940s or 1930s.

Pleased
Works nicely and is very aesthetically pleasing. However, the plastic parts feel a little cheap. At this price point I would expect better materials.

Great Unit to have.
The sound on this is fantastic. I did buy a the auxiliary mat instead of the OEM and added a weight. This is the automatic unit. (Shaky old hands) With 33 1/3 and 45 rpm selector. It was a little tricky getting the protective cover off of the needle. I had went to CD years before for the convenience of take anywhere. But the sound of the vinyl is unmatched. Can't say enough good about this unit. FYI I used AI GROK for recommendation. We went through different scenarios with equipment I have.

Recieved defective turntable (likely
I am so disappointed. I had a lot of respect for AT, and am a dedicated music fan. Decided to get myself a nice audiophile turntable only to find out I had received a defective one. The turntable did not connect to both channels, only one no matter what troubleshooting was done.I purchased a new AT stylus as I considered the possibility that the stylus was damaged and not reading the grooves of the record. No success.Tried 3 different records. No success.Tried 4 different sets of speakers, including brand new ones which I purchased to try to make this table work. No success. At one point a pair of AirPods were playing both channels, however after about 30 seconds they began to crackle and skip horribly and then returned to only playing one channel. I give up.

Update 28APR 2025 PROBLEM RESOLVED. Bittersweet skipping a few hours into listening.
Update on 28APR2025:From my previous review you would know I had to send the unit for repair for a known problem that the manufacturer describes as a "small batch of units with skipping issues". I guess I picked one of those defective units. Regardless, after a repair turnaround of 10 business days, I received the unit back and I have been playing records on it consistently every day. At least three records per day. No skips so far. I have done the same prep work for all records so the only change is that the player was successfully repaired. Therefore, consider that before purchasing. You may get a unit that had doesn't have the factory problem, which would be a 5 star experience in my opinion. But if you do get one that has the problem, the company was able to perform the necessary repairs which is good. It sounds excellent, and it looks great. At this point, I am keeping the review at 4 stars because the unit had that original defect. Would I order again? Yes. Why? Because it is a local US company, and the customer service was effective in resolution of my problem. I received response to all my messages and while I didn't like the wait, it was effective to resolve the problem.ORIGINAL REVIEW: My first hours of use, it was a delight. Very easy to assemble and use. Looks amazing on my turn table desk; the copper line on the one I purchased gives it a very elegant look. Beautiful sound reproduction and just happy to revisit all the mementos of my time with my dad listening to his records. It is fairly light in weight, but it is well built.Unfortunately, the unit starting skipping after a couple of months, with an average play time of 2 hours per week; first a couple skips, then it would play OK. More recently, it skips quite a bit on every song. Even with brand new out of the box (visually clean) discs, or properly cleaned older records with a cleaning solution. A bit disappointing, considering the perceived positive reputation of the company. I have opened a service ticket, so I will see if I can get proper support on the unit. If the problem is resolved, I'll update my rating.

incredible starter - best option out there
The media could not be loaded. This review is for the Audio-Technica AT-LP70XBT-BZ Wireless Turntable, Black/Bronze, delivered from Amazon.Received this turntable from amazon, and had issues with skipping, skating, and in general unhappy records (and my ears). Audio-Technica support, answered all questions I had, and Amazon promptly replaced the turntable. Second try was perfect and worked right out of the box. Not sure what happened, but really enjoyed the quick response from Amazon and A/T technical support. This is a very light Turntable, and honestly, I was a little surprised at how well it worked, try as I might it did not react to footsteps, bumps etc. My vintage “rock” Kenwood (1976), has a marble plinth and weighs in at 28 pounds. This turntable was engineered to accomplish this steadiness and comes in just over 6 pounds. Bluetooth works wonderful as well! The arm is a “J” shape with AT95VM cartridge with a Conical (blue) stylus pre-attached and set up. There was nothing to do when this arrived but attach the belt, the aluminum platter, and set the autographed felt pad in place. The dust cover attached without screws. The anti-skate is pre set at the factory as well as the cartridge weight (my measurement 2.25G) so ready to play out of the box. This cartridge is perfect to upgrade in the future- as far as you want to spend! I tried it with the green elliptical that I have on hand and worked perfectly! Very interesting setup uses a spring at the back of the tonearm to adjust the tracking force – it seems to work well!Is this turntable going to replace my mint vintage Kenwood/Ortifon setup, No. Is it perfect to set on the stereo in my back office as a second home turntable – Absolutely! This Turntable sounds great, the rotation was dead on 33.3 rpm, easy to setup and would make probably the best option I have seen to date as a starter, or gift for those who love vinyl, or who are looking to get into the record trend.
