Salt : A World History : Kurlansky, Mark: desertcart.in: Books Review: Excellent - This book is a great insight into our history - particularly since it is not a history of kings and queens but a history of commerce focused on a single product. Review: Informative and easy read. - Though the book is a reference history of salt for foodies yet it is worth every penny it is paid for.

Brilliant read!
Enjoyed reading this detailed book. If historians, economists, epicures and chefs meet at a bar, the likely outcome of their conversation will result in this book.

A good reference
I love the brevity of the content in the chapters. Although it must have been difficult to keep readers interested, I think the way content has been arranged is engaging. I wish there were more images to describe some of the complex procedures in the book.
