New preferred trackball
I tend to wear through pointer devices, and I'm rather particular about ergonomics. Logitech pricing is inflating and build quality seems to be diminishing. Wasn't interested in spending $100 on a device that was going to wear out. Replaced aging logitech MX Ergo because they look near identical and I am rather particular about it.Zero regrets.Product feels premium. Even more so than the Logitech.Input is smooth. Arguably smoother and more precise than the Logitech. Certainly much smoother than Kensington trackballs using softer bearings. You will be hard pressed to find a better track ball, and at $45 you won't beat the price either. Is there a catch? I'm still a new user. While build quality FEELS good, we'll see how it holds up in the long run. Out of the box and a few months use it's great.I don't know much of anything about ProtoArc, but everything about this product, from apparent build to presentation in packaging feels surprisingly high quality. Put the company on my radar. I'll be paying closer attention to other products. Hopefully these things genuinely hold up and ProtoArc can establish themselves and maintain the standard.Notes:Bluetooth connection takes a few seconds switching devices. This is typical. Resuming from standby can sometimes take a few seconds also to resume. Again, this is fairly typical of bluetooth devices, but it's not nearly so bad as some other devices I am using. If it's a problem, use the dongle. I don't.Quiet clicker. Makes mouse clicks feel a bit mushy if you're used to something more clicky. Right click seems overly sensitive by just a bit, and I regularly input by mistake. More of a point for adaptation. Still feels natural coming off an MX Ergo.

Good office mouse
I use this for work and with a laptop, and the button to swap to other devices is super convenient. It has a comfortable grip, and the adjustment from flat to angled is nice.I've even used it for some casual gaming and found it comfortable and completely usable even in first person games. Great battery life even when left on.Choice of Bluetooth and the dongle is useful, and means I can use 2 computers and my phone or another device.Cheaper than the Logitech equivalent, which is insanely overpriced, and I couldn't find many others with the same profile. Pretty satisfied overall.

Little accuracy at high DPI.
The fine motor function of this mouse is choppy and skips as it moves. I have to reduce my mouse speed to 2 for it to be placed accurately over small objects without overshooting. This does not work as I use my mouse on three devices and need to move at a quicker pace. The mouse is new and not dirty. If slow speeds are acceptable to you, then it's an excellent mouse in that regard. Additionally, the description above says it has a DPI change function. This is only available on the EM01, not on this EM01 NL.

Wish I Bought It Sooner
I prepared my mind for 2 weeks of getting accustomed to this trackball mouse since I've never used one... but wanted to give my wrist a break so I bought this. First day and I'm good to go. Wow! I video edit and thought it was gonna be a &$*(# to use in Davinci Resolve... but nope. I was already, doing slip/slide edits, roll edits, dynamic trims... all smoothly, by the end of the day. Took me only 4 hours to get used to this thing. AMAZING MOUSE!!!! Get it... your arm/wrist/front delt will thank you for it.

Left Click fails after 6 months
It was great until it wasn't. Left click failed after 6 months. I'd say try one of their competitors because they're cheaper and also fail in less than a year of high use. To be fair I use them every day and for hours at a time as a computer geek and gamer. Cheap components though.Unrelated: in this particular model the trackball is a pain in the ass to remove to clean. Not a world ending design failure just an observation.Note: I've been a trackball user for almost twenty years now. They're great but while I used to swear by logitech trackballs, like the rest of this cheap hardware the quality went down dramatically while they remain twice as expensive as items like this.Maybe if you're a light user it'll be fine for you. 6 months isn't great in my book. I haven't found a trackball that doesn't crap out pretty quick anymore and that sad.

Multi Device mouse - use it to easily switch between computers!
This product hit all the numbers for me! I've been through countless different roller ball style devices. The manual says you can connect up to three separate computers, I only needed two so the third was a bonus. It connected easily and was plug & play for the most part. With the click of a button I can change between computers/monitors easily. The ergonomic adjustments on this make it very comfortable to use. Its the perfect size and the scrolling device / ball have just the right amount of resistance for easy use. I was skeptical when I purchased this device but its been a homerun for my usage. I charge it every few months... seems to do great with pretty heavy usage.

I will never go back to touchpads or regular mouses.
Purchased this on May 10th and wish I had bought it in March when I first got my laptop. I use this with video editing, DaVinci Resolve, as well as 3D printing with Orca Slicer. Learning curve was about 10 minutes, and now I hate using my touchpad. It's nice to sit on the couch and have this on the sofa arm, which would never work with a regular mouse. Also has impressive battery life as it hasn't needed to be charged yet.

Definitely on track with this truck ball
I apologize for not writing the review right when I got this product; I wasn't really in the habit of doing that. However, I have to say that this product is absolutely worth the money I spent on it! It's comfortable to hold—whether ergonomic or not—and it charges quickly and lasts for a long time. I would recommend this for anyone who has a computer.
