51mm - perfect for post-mil La Pavoni Pro
I love this basket! It came with a small stack of paper filters and a puck screen, too! Very neat! The basket fits perfectly in my La Pavoni after a few cranks. It top edge is flat and seems to not be for my machine, but a bit of elbow grease got the rim bent nicely and everything is fine now.My shots are great! The distribution of the flow on the bottom is also great!Everything is thick, the basket seems durable, the bottom is flat!, and I’m generally pleased.Happy with this unit and I think you will be as well.

Works with a Gaggia Classic Pro
Got this to go with the Gaggia Classic Pro. Seems to work well, but i do notice that some fines get stuck in the holes. I know that it comes with paper filters, and using them does eliminate the issue, but its a bit of a pain.I dont think those stuck fines really affect anything, just a bit annoying to clean it out every so often.Makes great coffee. I'm currently using it with about 18.5g of coffee and its been pumping out 40g of amazing espresso.

Fun to Use and Hard to Clean
I've had this basket as my daily driver for 3 months. My recipe:1:1 Ristretto shot starting with 22g of coffee beans6 ounces of milkPros: (good size, high quality construction, tasty espresso)I really like this basket, I had been using the stock basket from Rocket prior to purchasing the Norm Core high extraction basket. The increased capacity is nice going from 18g of beans to 22g of beans. It feels pretty solid in your hands, really good construction. It gives you that espresso rain effect that I've come to love.Cons: (paper filters are required, lacks ease of cleaning)When it comes to cleaning I have to say it falls a little short. Something to note, the paper filters that come with the basket are not as optional as you might think. I've found over the past 3 months that not using the filters causes grounds to be stuck in the holes, and can make for a bad experience trying to clean. I feel this is especially so, when trying to pull back to back shots without a filter. While I prefer paper filters anyway, I think you should have good results regardless for a product at this price point.

Amazing filter!
I bought a week ago a different brand of filter. It worked, but not without struggle. Obviously when I got this brand my coffee was already set in the machine after trying different shots. This filter only took 2 shots to set the perfect shot of coffee. The first one to see where I was, and the second one to do the perfect shot.It was that simple! It took me about 6 shots with the other filter although the distance between adjusting the grinder was just relatively close. So only two tries with this one.One of the best filters for espresso. Very smooth and fancy!By the way, I am using Breville Bambino and the filter fits a bit tide, keep that in mind, and a disclaimer if you use it but the filter works great!!

Great basket except for one issue
I bought this basket to fit a 58mm bottomless portafilter for my Gaggia Classic Pro. The basket does provide a noticeably higher extraction and flow rate (due to larger holes), and upon close inspection the basket seems to be machined well. It’s on the tall side (28.5mm I think) for 18-22g baskets, so it should be able to pull 20-22g shots unless you are using a thick puck filter AND have a protruding center shower screen screw (which you can replace with a low profile countersink screw). Since I have this issue, I can only pull 18-19g shots without denting or bending the puck screen (the Normcore 58.5 one).Anyway, the ONE issue with this basket is that espresso grounds easily get caught and clog the holes, as you can see from my photo. This is how many grounds I got after pulling only one shot and rinsing under the tap. This is why it comes with a stack of paper filters. You REALLY are forced to use these filters on the bottom of your basket for every shot, otherwise you will be scrubbing the basket with a fine brush after every single shot (or using a partially clogged basket, which is even worse). In my opinion, this is a design flaw. If you don’t mind using the paper filters on the bottom, though, it won’t be an issue.

love it but not good for back to back shots
im able to get some nice espresso shots with this basket on my casabrew 5418 with my 1zpresso j ultra. i do make a weird shot though (80ml water, 17.5g grounds, ~35s brew) but i like it.its actually not too hard to clean if youre not doing back to back shots. basically wash it then let it dry first (!! very important). once dry, you can use one of those photography dust blowers to blow the remaining grounds out the holes. works every time for me. i got a second basket for back to back shots tho as the water holds onto the grounds when the basket isnt fully dry.seems high quality and fits my portafilter nicely.if anyone is interested this is what i do:17.5g grinded at 1.3.3 on the j ultrapreheat portafilter with an mhw bomber screen and normcore paper screens (paper once just to absorb oils and coffee and prevent it all from coming back up to the group head)press 2-cup on the 5418. i believe thats ~80ml by default
