USB Data Sync Replacement Cable Compatible for Sony Walkman NWZ S544 S545 8 16 [Electronics]

Nice to have a plug that works like it did when it was new!

My Sony Walkman NWZ S545 is up and running after being down 5+ years since I lost the charging cable. This Cybertech cable is compatible and has salvaged the Walkman with my 1,700+ music files still intact. The cable was tested during charging as shown in the photograph. I am very pleased with the quality, service, and value. My only problem is remembering it does NOT have a touch screen. I be like *peck* *peck* Oops!

I purchased several of these cables so I wouldn't need to carry just one cable around the house. I keep one next to the bed for charging, another one by the computer for data transfer, and a third one in the living room, also for charging. Used with a Sony digital audio player that has their proprietary ("exclusive") connector on it where a USB cable would normally be plugged into. Cable works well for its intended purpose. Can't use it with anything else, because one end of the cable will only fit some Sony audio players.

I needed a sync table for travel and saw this one online. It works perfectly for both charging and syncing my Walkman.

So i recently purchased the sony walkman NWZ-S545 model from Walmart and lost the usb cable while on a trip to Houston, TX. Needless to say, I was very disappointed! I tried to purchase an additional cord from Walmart itself and the chain doesn't carry them and additional Sony cords are almost twenty bucks a pop on the brand website -_-THANKFULLY, amazon carried these little guys for A PENNY! I ordered two at two dollars a pop with shipping :) They work perfectly and charge/sync just as well as the original carrier cord did, if not better! I would totally recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a few spares for future use :)

I lost my charger cable a while back and it drove me nuts that I couldn't use my Sony Walkman (Which by the way I hold in a higher regard than ipods. Never owned anything from Apple, and I never will).It was around $4. You can't beat the price! Granted it's not Sony's dedicated cable, it still does what it's supposed to. It came in on time and still works a year after I bought it. Excellent buy! I would recommend to anyone looking for a replacement cable or even just to have as a backup; it's cheap enough.
