Pretty straightforward install despite lackluster instructions. The provided QR code for a YouTube video is useless as the video shows a different product, is shaky and not very detailed. But again, the installation is easy. Just some tips: the second plug from the OEM screen (blue) is not used. Just tug it somewhere in. To get the two wires with the white plugs up to the screen you have to route them on the right side behind(!) the plastic. The easiest way is to tug the white plug in the gap between the right air vent and then push the cable towards the screen mounting opening. Fish with your left hand while pushing the cable with your right hand. You do the same with the lower half of the cable but downwards (its easier).Addressing some critique from Tone2345:I had issues too with the navigation voice not playing but her is how you do it:1. set the system setting to use car BT (bluetooth).2. make sure that your iPhone is NOT(!) connected to the devices bluetooth (CAR-xxxx). Only to the cars Bluetooth.That gives you following results:1. If you use Carplay all sounds will be played over the cars speakers2. If you listen to the car radio and use Carplay for Navigation the routing instructions will be played through your phone speaker.You can also change the temperature unit to Fahrenheit in the setup menu.The system is pretty snappy. Cold start time is acceptable. Maybe 7-10 seconds. I like that it shows the AC status if you change the cars temperature.I have the same issue as Tone234 with the randomly pops up of the AC info bar. It is not very frequent. Maybe it happens 2-3 times on a 10 mile trip. But this prevents it from getting 5 stars.I had previously an in-line in system from RoadTop and that was not reliable. Lost connection to the phone or dark screen. I had to reboot every other time. Will see how the new one performs long term.Bonus tip: to activate Siri you need to press the speak button on the wheel for 2 seconds. After Siri is done you have to press again to reactivate music.I would buy it again.
