Bride of Chucky

Horror and comedy all in one. Two thumbs up !!!!

I had never seen this film until recently. I saw commercials for it years ago and it looked to me quite silly. But on saturday night 1 week ago, it just happened to be on right after the film the thing, and at first me and my dad had no idea what movie it was, at first i thought it was the newest chucky film seed of chucky where they have a kid, and to me that film looked even sillier. But anyways, what got me hooked was how beautful jennifer tilly was as a blonde, and her being part asian, (i think she is korean), i have seen her in many other movies, but she always had dark black hair, always lookin like a hot vuluptuous china doll, and she was incredible in the film "bound" But anyway me and my dad couldnt stop laughing as we watched bride of chucky, it's more like a dark comedy, definately some twisted humor and odd scenes that dont make you feel too much like an (...)to laugh at. Even my dad thought tilly looked beautiful, and i even said she looked great as a blonde, but said nothing else, because my dad doesn't know i'm bisexual. But anyway, my dad thought the voice of chucky this time was danny devito, the voices have always sounded the same to me, but i will check on it. I also finally saw seed of chucky, which was a little dumb, but still funny at times, and some dull humor. But all in all, i can appreciate the effort of the writers considering child's play is an old film, and one might think new chucky films seemed like a stupid unoriginal ideaa, but they pulled it off.. and my favorite part in this movie was when jennifer danced in that outfit for the guy that looked like a chick, go figure.

Hey it's the Living Dead Girl here. I changed my name for this movie review, I've been a lol busy, but me and my ex are now finished...but I got to keep The Crown jewel of my Living Dead Girl collection (remember weird dolls, not the company) and it really pissed him off 2, let's just say it's that scene in the movie where Tiffany brings the Bride doll...then throws rice in chuckys face before she says well I'm sure you 2 want to be alone....only he doesn't get anything, and I get the Academy award for Every way I'm getting back at my ex...I'd say this could be the movie about it, so let's start from the top! That scene I wrote is one of my favorites by the way along with the scene at the beginning with the unsolved case files; although I have a few suggestions for more case files; we got camp crystal lake right? Well then obviously they know Sleepaway Camp so Angela's Machete should've been next to it. Then we could have like a stake from Lost Boys before Chucky...you know cool stuff like that. The throat slitting of the cop was perfect! (Also I love this flick so much I wrote a story about it for Halloween. I don't like the stupid couple backstory however, I don't care, I don't...in fact I didn't even before the breakup....I thought they were stupid when I 1st saw the flick. I paid to see Bride of Chucky, not this stupid background story that nobody cares about. Besides they did that part perfectly in seed of chucky so what was the point in this one?

My 7yr old daughter bought it by mistake. Definitely took me back to my childhood when we all gathered to see the chucky movies. I was terrified! Great movie,never gets old. Now my kids love chucky and are not afraid at all. They want to be chucky for halloween now. Greatest movie of all time
